Digital Speedo

The speed reflected is not accurate at all. When I'm going on the road at a constant speed keeping up with nearby vehicles, the numbers on the digital speedo can jump from 0 to 90. It seems to do this all the time and the numbers jump randomly...

I also thought it's a UG3 but the head of my bike is different. Did some research and matched to it the head of a Yamaha RXZ 135... wtf!!! Could it be possible the previous owner had an accident, had to replace the head and took some old RXZ head? Sian.

The plate is FBB and total mileage on the digital speedo is 12k+.

He said it is normal for the digital speedo to display inaccurate speed now and then due to the electrical wheel sensor. But I'm getting the problem all the time instead of "now and then".

 

I think the Pulsar 180 head looks nicer than RXZ one. My bike now looks like a cross breed. lol

The Initial batches of Digital meter does have some issues. Unluckily mine encountered it.

 

Issues encountered as follows :

1) The display speed fluctuates around +/- 15km/hr at times even though I am riding at constant speed.

2) The fuel meter was also inaccurate, dropping to 2 or 3 bars although you know it's still half tank.

3) Also the display reading and lines tend to flickers after a year of riding and at times all display disappears. Lol...

 

These are somes issues that I have encountered for my bike's digital meter previously.

 

BUT all the above issues was solved when it was changed to a more recent batch of digital meter. All thanks to lindavw:thumb:

If you think your bike is a cross breed..hehehehe..you have yet to see the RACCUUUUNNNN that uncle MJ has and how different some of our bike looks from a stock pulsar.

just don't like people who keep the facts when they just want to sell off their bikes

The bike is manufactured in 2007 and registered in 2008. Yar the mileage is very low I wonder why...

The seller couldn't remember exactly when. Should be more than 3 months back as he had left the bike parked for a few months without riding. He's got like 4 bikes and a car...

maybe you should just go dwn UM to do a basic servicing

ie change EO & the $6 servicing package

EO change $10 + $6 servicing

your speedo have to check if it is the sensor or the speedo itself

juz came back from jb for full body traditional massage !!! yeah !!!!!

 

enter jb by 2nd link around 3pm ... traffic like the whole stretch road belongs to me .... paid $20 RM for new T&G and vrooooooooom all the way to Tampoi... hmm remember my eldest brother place where we ate Satay hmmm ....

 

1 solid hour of crazy wrestling type of traditional massage .. that medcine man really do his work out at me and having me screaming in pain like WWF..... ho ho ho

 

then go for dinner ... satay, oh yes that mouth watering road side special burger, drink ABC, then hot coffee O ... and vrooooooom back along 2nd link !!!.

 

Cant believe the true feeling riding along that looooooooonnnggg stretch daaaaaark highway in the middle of the night with my wife at the back wohoooooo... chilling coool air and breezing wind, and much much more .... heheheheh

 

No doubt after installing my new Racuuuuuunnnn, with the air flow follows the aerodynamic ... from the front fender and down to the new bellypan .... my SplitFire truely does wonders .. feeling more and more comfortable riding on it.. similar like Gaban always have the imagination while riding .. me toooooo ... looking again at the sharp point of my belly pan ... hahaha who cares when others have the thought saying it looks like sampan .... me it it just reminds me of my favourite fighter jet F16 Falcon which carry the huge fuel tank on its belly ..... hehehe I just visualize myself I was flying on that F16 .... along the highway. .. wat a true nice feeling !!!!!!

 

hehehhehehhee ... oh sorry lah if I babbling here .. but just to share only my feeling riding my P200 for the day/nite lah hahahahahahaha .. ok niw need to go and have my HOT shower and then go and have a niceeeeeee rest !! .. bye bye and Good nite ... CHEERS!!!!! zzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz

i think the previous owner is either rich or siao. one of us needs to test ride ur bike. we're not experts, but dats the best thing we could do.
