Do you know whats the approximate cost? Is it a legal mod in Singapore? I was keen on changing the brakes.

Yeah it's legal. I can't tell you much about the cost yet: I still have a couple of quotations yet to come my way, but as soon as I have all the numbers including shipping, I will share with everyone here. I will give pictures of what's to come and will update you all on how I went about it. Then when it's shipped to me, I will take more photos and invite everyone to UM to see how it's put in place :D

Welcome to all the newcomers I have not had a chance to properly welcome yet: it's great to see so many new owners have found their way to our thread. Please don't hesitate to ask questions and do join us for our November BTMO (Bajaj Team Monthly Outing) so you make ties and learn more about your bike :cheer:

By the way.. who's organizing the November BTMO

Hi Fellow Riders,

I posted this on ChatterBox oso...juz wana share wif u guys too

I have had terrible experiences eating at Tong Seng Coffeeshop opposite Bugis Junction and yesterday ultimately was the last straw.

Went to eat dinner wif my gf at about 5pm. Wanted to seat upstairs to enjoy the aircon abit. E room was half empty. Was forced by this Malay looking foreigner to sit crammed between tables for 2-seater..nvm.

Had no place to put my helmet and bag..so i juz tumpang my helmet on the table beside me wif the intention if any1 else would need it i would put e helmet elsewhere or leave once i was done wif my quick dinner(went der to juz chill drink teh n siew mai onli). That same guy told me to put my helmet on the floor coz dey need the table. I told him if gt any pair come den i will put it elsewhere. He told me there got ppl coming up to sit beside me. Frustrated, me n my gf decided to leave and der wasnt anyone waiting at all. How annoying can dat be?

I understand dat dey require e space for patrons but at least have e courtesy to be more flexible. it was already half empty, wad difference wud it make if i were to sit at the 4-table place. it was empty downstairs. dat foreigner had to cheek to tell me put my helmet on e floor. i wish i cud put his head on the floor.

From now on, im goin to boycott this tong seng as its a so-called high-class coffeeshop. i'd rather eat at e new food junction although it may be pricier bt at least it wudn't spoil my appetite.

FYI: i heard stories dey use black magic too over at tong seng. i dun reali bother though abt this hocus pocus.

ooo keeyy...

The tyres are stock MRF ones. Changing them is on my todo list. What do you recommend, Bridgestone?

So I was on the CTE riding at 70-80kmph (on my stock MRFs), and the roads were wet; also a slight drizzle. THe car ahead of me veered a bit and i touched the front brake. I dont know how many milli seconds elapsed before i had crashed to the road and was surrounded by 3 cars, front, rear and left side. Thanks to the crash guard Nothing major broke except a few bruises to me and bike. I had to endure several days of pain all over the body. I thought it was just my fault and the next day i was tailing car as it was raining . I consciously applied only the rear brake, but the wheel locked and dragged for a while like ice skating.

I chose Batalax and I drive as usual 80 - 90 without any fear even on super slippery surfaces. Change to these tyre or dont think of riding on rainy days. You are just a few milli seconds away from kissing the road.

Welcome to all the newcomers...

Hey all the newcomers...is anyone interested in ordering Sinnob sprockets? I've finally decided to invest money into them, but sadly missed out the previous mass orders.

MJ, what's the minimum number that you need to order?

oooooooooooooo..fuel consumption affected?

whatever sprocket you use fuel consumption will depend hugely on riding style

yes the sinnob sprocs will reduce vibration and rpm range at different speeds

but if you wack your bike fuel consumption also gone
