Hey can anyone recommend a set of side mirrors for my pulsar 180? The ones on my bike right now are too short and small. I actually have to tilt my head and tuck in my elbow to see vehicles behind clearly.

are you going down to UM again to get the problem solved?

btw 2ml nite you going down for the meet up for the rde safe event?

Yeah went back to UM today, they changed my battery for a new one :cheer: I met another Pulsar rider who had the same problem after leaving his bike OFF for 3 weeks, he had to change the battery too.

Yep, I'm going to the meet up tomorrow evening.

Do you guys lube or oil ur chain after a bike wash? Cos i wash my bike very often as in once or twice a week so i lube very often? comment pls.

I always lube after a wash, because I spray water on the chain to remove dust and other stuff that is stuck there (I now have a hose and a gun head to spray the water so it's great). After the bike dries, I oil the chain.

If I know I haven't washed the bike for a while, especially after long trips, I check the chain, if not greasy enough, I lube again. The only problem with the chain oiling is it splatters on the rims once you start riding. I am very careful when I oil not to spray on the rims or tires, and I don't put so much, but it's inevitable: after I ride a bit, there are splatters on the rims. And since the rims are gold, it looks dirty with these black splatters

-> What shampoo do you guys use to remove grease/oil from the rims or other parts of the bike? i used to use dish washing detergent but it's harmless against chain lube, should I use something else ?

Please share your soap advices :p

@SC Gaban: This Friday I want to go ride in MY for the day, explore a bit , which side do you recommend, west side by 2nd link then coastal road or the right side by Causeway then right of Johor ? Any nice itinerary you can recommend ?

I want to avoid the highway as much as possible as I want to enjoy the scenery and take my time.

If u r up for it, follow the route to mersing, from jalan tebrau, head straight all the way. go for the causeway in woodlands. Google map mersing’s route from wdlands cosway. Another alternative if u want is to ride to telok ramunia/pengerang. Google map d route on the web. Be very carefull of pot holes, sand, humps buses and lorries as ur not use to it.
