Where is Genting ? Couldn't find it on Google map, but then again I wonder if anyone at Google cares about MY....!

 

try this in the search "genting highlands malaysia". Genting is the Las Vegas of the east. Before the 2 casinos opened in SG, Singaporeans would flock to Genting. Apart from the casinos Genting is a hillstation with a cooler climate, I guess it goes it like 5 degrees Celcius and a nice getaway from the Singaporean heat.Genting also houses a nice indoor and outdoor theme park similar to Universal studios.

just came back from the electronics and sports expo

my advise is don't bother to go there unless you looking for home appliances

the computer and laptop deals are ok ok only

the sports side also nothing much

some sports drinks,nutrition drinks etc

even have prudential and AIA ppl there

and also got PI there selling cars

Rudy Project got a stall there for those who wants to buy sunglasses

for the mini video cam only got GoPro there

slightly cheaper

the GoPro digital Hero 3 selling for $99

The mirror casing still intact but the lens drop. The mirror lense I saw was attch by double sided tape..n ya drop juz now at lim chu kang area.

yeah it's raining the opposite timing ... morning while otw to Temask Poly, jurong area slightly haze not raining but along PIE reaching Tampines , heavy downpour .. then rain stop till in the afternoon weather clear, but when travelling home along PIE reaching jurong east ... heavy downpour again !! .. reach home see my bike .. wah super duper 'clean' ..

 

hehe .. then nothing to do ard 1130pm .. i grapped my portable pumper, spray n shine, rag and fiber cloth and head to mscp to have my simple bike clean for tmr ride !!! ... hehehehe

 

after that just for fun, take video on the diy oiler while warming up the engine using camera phone with no lights heheheh

for the diy oiler. maybe u can try running ur engine on main stand up to 5th gear and throttle abit to see ur chain got hit ur oiler. [suddenly see ur clip then rember abt it.]

Hey guys just wanna ask you guys sth.I got my bike from HKL aft the accident then now ah when I free hand my bike,it veers to the right ALOT.Not just once but a few times.After that I realise the right side is kinda heavier than the left. When I put my bike on mainstand,I try to spin the front tyre and it dosent spin that much.Maybe brake calliper jam(again).Can hear the disc brake sound when I spin it.It is also very hard to paddle my bike when Im on it sometimes.

Haha, yeah 5 degrees sounds too much. But it can get really cold there, last year we went in December in the rainy season. It was so foggy and cold that the outdoor theme park was closed. But I like Cameron Highlands more. It is higher, cooler, lot of nature and also there are tons of Landrovers there from the British times. Really nice place to be.

Haha have been in this way since I did the DIY and have riding since then at various speed and gear shifts!

Yes , the tip get brushed by the chain a bit.

The tip is so thin and flexible and does not get affected by the contact from the chain as it is facing the same direction of the moving chain.

This is to have the oil flow out/drop directly on the chain rather than being blown away all over the place by the wind when riding.

The chain have no contact at all on the main tubing.

The tip is just a black plastic cut half from small cable tie and trimmed to fit through the main yellow tubing.

Auto oiler are meant to keep the chain lubed/oiled when travelling especially on long distance and not only for lubing during idle or after bike wash.

Reasons why it needs to have the timing flow as slow as 1 droplet per min (see scottoiler pic on the centrigufal force) to protect the chain at all times.

I have no idea why the bike is all of a sudden a righty and leans to right, but this is the kind of stuff I would never notice. Unless I'm dressed like those dog training guys you know that get themselves bit by dangerous dogs on purpose? Yeah like that. And riding a motorcycle that's not mine

Can't help much but you can try ...

 

Try checking the end weight and retighten them.

Use autosol and polish clean the rotor disc and have a check again. But do becareful when ride, your braking grip will not be very effective for a while becos of the autosol. It will be normal after few brakings.

Check the rotation of the wheel from front view for any misalignment.

Handling at main stand smooth or tight when turning left and right? Adjust the knob if you have the correct tools.

If no tools, then where to go you should know lah... hehehe

went jogging just now and saw a few pulsars parked in the car parks and on the pavements

which got me thinking again about the idea of a leaflet to intro our group to these riders

i did a sample

any ideas for improvement?

Sorry akhi, didn't get a chance to reply to your sms - I loved and enjoyed my "short" trip. Thank god everything went well, got a little bit of rain but it wasn't heavy pouring so I kept riding. (I would have stopped otherwise - didn't have raincoats with us).

I have already planned for my next one, either next Saturday or maybe another Friday as I have a few days of leave to clear.

I'm not sure yet of what I'll be doing on Nov 5th but if i'm staying in SG then you can count on me for the Mersing trip

but not sure if i add the bajaj logo will infringe copyright?

cause our grp is called Singapore Bajaj Team and not Singapore Pulsar Team

although most of us here are riding pulsars

want to invite the other riders of bajaj bike model in also

don't think will advertise the diy session as this leaflet is meant to be everyone can just print and keep a few copies in with them and if they see a bajaj bike they can just put there

if with the diy session then have to keep changing the wordings
