Bro, your's is P200 and mine is P180 so I think 650 for P200 is good fc.

Regarding downsizing of rear sprocs. It will reduce the RPM at any particular speed for a given gear.

So with stock rear sproc at 100 kmph rpm will be 8.5K that can be reduced to 7-7.5K. So it will be less stress for the engine.

But the downside is that the pickup at a particular gear will reduce. But that is ok since you can delay the gear changing and make better use of all the 5 gears.

So earlier you would change to 5th gear at 40 kmph, now you can change at 60 kmph.

Our stock sprocket and gear ratios are designed for indian city traffic riding where mostly people ride at the max 40-60kmph.

Regarding Sinnob I believe it is already lower than the stock. The experts can confirm as I am yet to change my sprocs.

Cheers!

Stock P200 is 14:38T

Sinnob P200 is 15:39T

My 8k rpm is 110km stable

My 7k rpm is 95-98km

My 6k rpm is 84 -86km

And I'm using Sinnob 15:39T with Bridgestone Battlax 120/90R & 90/80F with super big Rear Box!! hehehe

Maybe if I change to Dunlop or Michelin or other branded tyres, I can achieve more speed at that rpm .... but I'm not a speed demon!!

I ever went to Unique Motor at Kaki Bukit and asked them about Michelin and Pirelli for a change of my Battlax but was told in terms of good grip, all can't match Battlax!! hehehe

Chain Oiler DIY Session

anymore people interested?

indicate your name below

below are some things need to get and some things need to consider before start to DIY

Date: TBC(should be same say as hazard light DIY)

Time: TBC

Place:TBC(Likely the same carpark at Ah Boy there cause near the hardware stores)

Chain Oiler

1)fircyber

2)Lanzer

3)husher

4)arthur

5)

Points to consider:

1) need to determine your exact location for your oiler container

2) what type of container do you want to use? (best is those already with an outlet like brake fluid reservoir or medical syringe,if syringe then need a cover for the top to prevent dust from going in and the fluid from spilling out, bottle cap should do the trick, if no outlet need to drill hole then need extra valve/connector)

3) your chain guard is open or close? (closed chain gaurd need to plan more precise how you going to route your tubing cause need to determine how long tubing need to get)

Things needed:

1) tubing (recommend to get the 4mm one from the valve shop near ah boy, flow rate just nice, 1m should be enough, you can get more to play safe)

2) control valve (get the metal one from the valve shop behind ah boy,$12.50)

3) container (recommend to use brake fluid reservoir, can get from ah boy small one or get a used old one

4) cable tie (need long and the super small ones

5) pliers

6) scissors

7) silicon sealant

8) flexible metal bracket (optional, depend on where you want to mount your container, you have to decide before hand, some places can just use cable tie)

9) bolts/screws & nut (optional, only if you use the metal bracket then you need this)

10) metal handicraft wire/electrical black & red wire (if using the 4mm tubing the wire dia 1.5mm just nice, can get from diaso those handicraft wire)

the pics below show the flexible metal bracket i am talking about and the valve

and tubing can get at Teck Siong Huat Hardware

opp the shop selling bolts and nuts under the hdb flats, behind the coffeeshop opp ah boy

Got it for $70. I really really suck at bargaining so maybe you can push the price lower.

The lavender branch had some M and XL left.

I am interested in downsizing my rear sprocket. I did some reading of the past pages in this thread.

Is there a way to find out if my sprocket is 6 holes or 4 holes? Mine is UG2 with engine kill switch. I believe mostly UG2 with engine kill switch is 4 hole, but there are some exceptions?

If mine is 4 hole then I believe I can go to JB and buy the entire set(2 sprockets+1 heavy duty chain) for 80RM? Anybody can advise?

the hazard session is on sunday

sim lim tower not all the shops open

so the prices for the parts cannot compare with other shops

either way the total cost of the parts should not cost more than $15

should be less than that

i wanted to get an fz1s too bt e insurance very ex..$1300..ouch

isn't a F1 way too much for SG ? That's a 1000-1300cc bike isn't it ? I just can't understand how this can be used in SG and actually be a good use of money. Now if it's for the joy of riding a big bike, then no discussion there hehe.. But if it's for a long term choice, unless you plan to go to KL every WE, it seems like an over-kill for SG.

I like the Fazer 600cc - too bad they don't do 400cc anymore...
