When is the chain oiler diy session?

As I'm working shift , need to see whether the date is suitable for me to join or not..

the DIY chain oiler session haven confirm date

but if you no need to do the hazard lights can come see if you can come down on the hazard light DIY to do your oiler

if you want to do hazard lights then maybe that session can only handle either hazard or oiler(unless you fast enough can do both)

isn't a F1 way too much for SG ? That's a 1000-1300cc bike isn't it ? I just can't understand how this can be used in SG and actually be a good use of money. Now if it's for the joy of riding a big bike, then no discussion there hehe.. But if it's for a long term choice, unless you plan to go to KL every WE, it seems like an over-kill for SG.

I like the Fazer 600cc - too bad they don't do 400cc anymore...

Fazer 1 is 1000cc

but the 600cc not as nice as the 1000cc

anyway the new Fazer 8 is nice and powerful enough...

but my dream is still ST13...

Fazer 1 is 1000cc

but the 600cc not as nice as the 1000cc

anyway the new Fazer 8 is nice and powerful enough...

but my dream is still ST13...

The thing the fz1 has on all other fazers iis it's the only model that actually looks powerful and compact. The other fazers really come across as "naked", but I like it. I love the fz1 gold and black, that goes without saying. I wouldn't know what to do with it in SG, unless I can ride for show everyday :)

The bikes like ST13 scare me. They look like cruiser-streebike hybrids and they look HUGE and super LOOOONG, I dont know, I can't imagine myself being able to drive that, it's like a mini bus but bike version lol..

Anyway.. this is my dream bike :

even the fairing version of the old Fz6 looks very small

now with the Fz8 the size is just nice

big enough for singapore road and powerful enough for some throttle action occasionally...

ST13 will be my dream...

whether will achieve or not also don't know

haha

this sunday?

i think you misunderstood

i mean the session is held on a sunday not this sunday

so sim lim tower only ground and basement a few shops open

some more common items like the wires, cable tie etc can get at normal hardware shops

the switch & connectors i not sure if hardware shops got sell or not

the signal relay can get on the day itself from ah boy

anyway here is a example of the switch you need to get

4 pins, can get bigger ones if you like

photo is from O'ren from the previous session

the car owner have to declare the modification

if nv declare the insurance company can don't honour the insurance

they will still pay for medical claims but not damage to your veh

although fz8 is e newer version bt frankly i dun tink ppl reali interested coz its between e 2, 600 n 1000. e insurance n rd tax difference btwn an 800 n 1000 nt much difference, so mebbe ppl would buy an fz8 juz for it bein a new model n design. i was abt to buy an st13 actuali. reali liked e bike alot becoz of its stability n comfort. e side box cn even fit a ff helmet n raincoat. bt wen i sat on it, it was so damn heavy. i was reali tinkin hw im goin to u-turn let alone corner wif tis bike. n if u gt pillion i tink wud be more heavier to balance. bt str8 rd and maintainin 180km/h, i tink wud be chix feet. n strangely enuff, st13 insurance cheaper than fz1 or r1..hahaha..dat i duno y

fz8 is to replace fz6

fz6 no longer have new bikes

actually the road tax got quite big difference

the other time kira was commenting on this

can't rmb how much he said it was

the insurance must depend on the type of bike, brand, age, experience etc...

so everyone different...

heard that even the easy to find spares in singapore also a factor

which shop in jb? ah gua lane der? can be used for p200? so nw e main qn is..hw much is sinnob compared to tis jb 1

I am interested in downsizing my rear sprocket. I did some reading of the past pages in this thread.

Is there a way to find out if my sprocket is 6 holes or 4 holes? Mine is UG2 with engine kill switch. I believe mostly UG2 with engine kill switch is 4 hole, but there are some exceptions?

If mine is 4 hole then I believe I can go to JB and buy the entire set(2 sprockets+1 heavy duty chain) for 80RM? Anybody can advise?

There is a shop called Hou Heng in Ah Gua Lane, may be other shops also there. I read the initial pages in the forum around 2 years old info. If yours is P200 then it is 4 hole sprocket. 4 hole sprocket is very easy to get in Ah gua lane,JB and change,. We can get Honda Wave sprocket and fit it. Mine is P180 UG2 with signal kill switch, mostly mine also 4 hole, but I read a case where a person has ug2 signal kill switch yet it is 6 holes. 6 hole I believe not that easy to get or some more mod is required.

Anyways next time I go to top up in JB I am going to get my sprocket changed. Will update you with the info.

Haha, thats funny. Even I was never asked to get my seat opened. May be they did that only that specfic day. Normally they dont even talk. You just need to open the rear box lid and keep walking along with your bike. Sometimes may ask to remove helmet.
