Africa Twin Mainstand & other issues

Hi ladies and gentlemen,

I was wondering where can i actually mod my mainstand so that it will be easier for me to lift the giant up?It took quite an effort to lift it up for now.Some guys in the AT-Asia forum did mention abt some places but it is not so clear where.

Maybe can also list down a few reliable shops..not to promote but to help the newbies or lao chioa who got problems.

Can any kind riders give some input of the shop/s,what it does and location?

Its the rider, not the mainstand problem.

 

Joke aside, you can do it in JB. But bear in mind, when the metal piece is jutting out, it will be a hazard to you leg is some nasty thing happen while you were riding.

 

It actually the technique of liftiing up the bike which you will get used to after doing it everyday.

one:i have ladies riding AT and having problems abt mainstand cuz too heavy for them..so i agree its rider!

two:where is it in JB?can u give some infos?

three:wat metal piece jutting out?newbies wont understand wat u talkng abt,any pics?

last:if u noe the technique/s..mind elaborating on it so that some newbies can learn from you!!

Bro, I too have difficulty lifting mt AT but after some time I overcome the difficulty.Anyway u could try install a small U-shaped handle to ur pillion footrest so u could have a better grip.Shop use to sell them but nowadays hardly come by.Maybe u could try seng kwang in Amk to fabricate for u.

Honda does produce the U-Shape Huruhara mentioned(As an accessory). But if you are using Hepco side racks, the handle cannot be fixed.
