hi guys, i went down to rosli today to giv e shadow a full body check up.

other than e usual fluids change/flush, he says my clutch plate koyak, need to change at $200, chain/spoket at $220.

as for ur 50c switch, he say will get mi a new rubber seal type? at $5-10.

QN to all: how do i noe its e truth abt my clutch plate? is e price reasonable?

Clutch plate and sprocket, you see your teeth can already. Rosli won't anyhow ask you change if not needed. If you intending to ride this machine for long, one shot do all the changes then no need worry already. Last time my Shadow also, go and do the chain and wash carbs everything, after that can feel a difference. Plus I rode without worry, just think about next EO change only

Depends on the age. Around 10 yrs can go for around 3-4k depending on condition. Younger not so sure.

If you're interested in a Dragstar Classic I know one for sale. It's going for around 8k neg. I know way above your budget but it's a 03 bike with pretty low mileage.

 

I think JesseJames has a Shadow for sale too Not sure if still have. Can contact him at 93806973. If you're not TOO concern about aesthetics, it's a pretty good bike with good engine and all.

Oh.. that sticker is yours. haha... tot it was John creation. Quite cool. I will keep it there. the engine is really good. 4 stars for that. just like a new bike. BUt i do like to do some crome for the rims and the exhaust part. any intro sir? Touch up a bit on the surface, this bike rocks.

yes but you need to change the rim i thinking also but i finally given up as changing both will cost me coming 2k++ for a descent looking pair

You may choose to use the Steed's rear rim and the Magna 750's front rim.

 

But i dunno how it will affect the handling of the bike. (If you try already let us know ok?)

i m about to change my shadow 400 rear tyre at a shop in bukit merah lane.

a reliable shop and friendly ppl ard..

I'm quoated $160 for Dunlop rear tyre only.. inclusive of installation..

and ard $200-250 for o-chain and spoket...

any idea if it is resonable... ???
