Date : 19th October 08 to 25th October 08

 

Day 1: 19th Oct Arrive Hatyai Stay a nite

Day 2: 20th Oct Ride to Donsak take ferry to Koh Samui

Day 3: 21st Oct Koh Samui

Day 4: 22nd Oct Koh Samui

Day 5: 23rd Oct Arrive Surat Thani

Day 6: 24th Oct Surat Thani (3NCR)

Day 7: 25th Oct Ride for Home Sweet Home

I will be going up for a recce during national day to KSM. As such, please give further intentions so that I can look out the best plan for the trip. So far looks like confirmed is 6 riders and pillion only.:thumb:

Sorry to disturb. If I'm going, will be first time going. How is the journey like from here to Hatyai? So far only been to KL.

 

Going at 110 to 150kph, it would be like 8 hrs of actual riding on mainly NSHway and a bit of trunk road. Your butt and your mind must be able to take it. :D

110-150kph is ok for me. 8 hrs with breaks in between or 8 hrs straight?

Hehehe 8 hrs of actual riding on the bike.....excluding tea/petrol breaks. :o

 

Take note: The last day back home is even longer. From Surat Thani to Sillypore! I would estimate 14 hrs of actual riding?

Pls don't be frightened by what I've said. For the last trip to Phuket/Hatyai with Ang Mo Kia, we started at 4 am and reached Hatyai about 1.30 pm. This included tea breaks, petrol stops, lunch..... If an old man like me can make it, I'm sure you can do it. If I can make it, I will go for this trip too. :smile:

Please note that all interested be it lao bird or newcomer, I arrange all trips based on the group and not by my riding style. If newbies are around, I will train some before the trip with some day rides. Else, I will make more stops to ease the pain in the butts.

 

Rest assured, you will feel nothing but full of fun to tell those who could not make the trips.
