lolxx... The bike that I bought was previously WhiteOryx bike. it was only till the end of this forum hen i realised that.

Was quite impress by the condition of the bike. I expect the bike top speed is ard 80km/hr, but oh my gosh it can easily run up to 90++ I got this feeling the previous owners took great care of the bike... although i bought it at a premium price but i think it is worthwhile.... I will continue to take great care of it.

is the so called "Mr botak? good?? I wanted to find service the bike.

anyway why sell off the bike?? it is a really good bike... wasted

bought it for a week... and enjoy riding it... twist and go

The bike is very smooth and comfort.. as compared to any bike that I view... appreciate yr effort to keep it in good condition manz... can feel it while riding. I only ride ard 70km/hr dun want to spoil the bike.

Rest assured.. I promise to keep it in good condition.

anyway may i know how much to change the belt and the air filter?

Anyone thought of putting some speaker to it?? will it over stress the batt?? or wiring??

anyone got experience to share??

Posted

putting speaker abit no point lah, skipper so noisy already, haha

change belt about 50 + 60, whole set about 120 @ Taihin

din change the air filter.

skipper don spend too much on it, not worth one

Hmm... very hard to say leh, usually we will depend on the milage. Did u ask the last owner if he did change the bike's belt before? I did change it before i sell it to him but during his 1yr++ ownership, i can't say if it has been changed :D Skipper belt can usually last for 12000km or even more depending on the way u ride. However, just to be on the safe side, its best to change every 10000km. By the way, taihin has also molested the bike before  And the white paintwork was done there as well

How much do you pay for the new paint??

The white paintwork still quite good but I have intention to change to dark purple. Although, skipper are cheap and maybe not advisable to spend too much $$ on it, but somehow I feel that this bike is in good condition despite 14yrs old. It can still start with a crank, the lights are all working, there is harzard and fog light somemore. I dun think I will sell this bike.

Is acceleration a time indicator to change the belt? but the bike acceleration quite good leh... Anyway I did not manage to meet the owner. He is in oversea. It is his wife who process the transfer for him.

kick start need skill de. last time i also cannot start by kicking... i learn through experience. cannot just kick blindly.

twist abit of throttle. when u kick till u feel the click or so called biting point, dont let go, even for that tiny bit . give it a hard push/kick all the way. and heard the roar... u might need to turn abit of throttle to keep the engine running. remember, dont turn too much of throttle, whilst the skipper fly off....
