same old trick loh...

slow pickup.... dun carry so many things in yr box... try not to stuck in traffic jam...

frankly speaking the bike condition quite good... i brought it to one of the motorshop and initially he say should just throw away the bike, but when i return to collect the bike he say he tried the bike and the bike is in good shape and quite rare for a skipper of such age. The shop is Planets.. Mr Chong

I replied: AR BO THEN!!

Hi i just got myself a skipper. Just got some questions:

1. is it true that skippers are more prone to falls since the front wheel is small?

2. My bike seems to be difficult to park onto or off the mainstand? ANy idea how and where I can change them?

and i really have to admit skippers are dying off. Minimal response here. WHY?!

how sad.

go for it.

1. last time used to ride but not sure. only when slippery road surface be extra careful.

2. maybe your mainstand something wrong? cos skipper old bike, maybe rust at the joints area.

minimal response since skippers are rare breed now. but its a fun bike to ride on. :)

Hi starats,

where do u send ur skipper for service?

Anyway last week my skipper rear rims(the five screws) somehow broke..

Lucky no car behind me and manage to slow down before fall.

So for all the skipper riders, always check that ur rim screws r ok...

Sent to repair at tai hin... changed a 2nd rim(tubeless)...

but now my exhaust got problem..noisy..

so anyone can recommend or have 2nd hand exhaust for our skipper??

hi there,

i go to eunos ave 5 blk 1069 there service. they service BEHIND the blk one. they dont own the shops. a number of scooters there. restore and stuff.

then there's another one at mayo street, opposite sim lim tower last right turn before u hit simlim sq. this guy Jimmy, i think a lot of people know him.

solved the jerking, by myself. i realise it's the loose lounting bolt problem [bike shop uncle told me] so for every bump i go past i dont go fast no jerking problem. so next time when u see uneven roads try slow down. i THINK.

my exhaust has been whipping like a 2 stroke bike and puffing out a lot of smoke. norm i guess. noise im not sure but the smoke should be caused by oil residuals condensed in the pipe.

my pipe gets noisier after my fall.

the shop told me that my exhaust has started to rust..

so got more holes i guess which causes it to be louder..

do u think ah boy got sell our pipe?? if not then i'll need to buy a new exhaust at the shop....

want to scrap the bike but still got 3 yrs to go...sianz...

Basically the compression for kick start is already gone, e-start usually connection problems. same with other electronic parts. capacitors old can also be a reason. so rewiring them may help.

Selling my on the verge of scrapping bike.

I will either scrap the bike, or you quote a price for the skipper.

i hope the number will not go to waste. it spells 988.

maybe xmas I might want to get a new vespa. I dont know!

tw also can! anything not too expensive.

time to shop.

salvage my skipper for those who are interested. cute rear box + rack.

new eugene saddlery seat. working IU. side mirrors. main stand.

everything is functional.

pictures, not YET available. cheers. Not Advisable to buy for riding.

wind blow bike will wobble, pass hump have to slow down to go over.

inspection is due 31st january.

it's a full plastice bike. i mean toy. with a faux bmw logo at the front. single shock/coil front fork. single coil rear.

narrow floorboard. oh yea headlight can salvage.

buybuy buy. sell off !
