You want to apply for stn manager? The upcoming Circle Line recruited alot of new staff previously. But i'm not sure if they are still recruiting now.

got the job aredi starting 16 june. start at the middle of the "promotion league table". starting pay is a thousand plus. more or less like just join regular sargeant. any1 becoming 1?

hopefully.. i start in the middle of the grading table. as the most junior of all the officers. i hope to keep this job for maybe 30 plus yrs till i retire (im 23 nw). neway as for u, did you have to fill up the personal data form? wen did u return them, isit first day of work or b4 employment? n hw long did u go for training, weeks or months?

1st day is orientation talk at HQ (Opp city hall). Can park ur bike inside. As for the training...depends on your department liao.

hmmm basically qte similar to most career paths. stArt off as stn manager. do well n u get promoted to senior stn manager which is like another "stripe" on ur shoulder. after dat still cn promote but i dunno the name of that higher post. basically i tink same as bus site. but long way to go. i start at the middle of the ranks n i try to get as high as possible. prospect is ther. btw hw long u in service alredi?

hmmm ok.i live in wdls. ride a ybr.. i tink i may be the one of the youngest in the group. but i expect a handful of youngsters too. the training is so far..... somewher ulu place ard defu. but ther is transport allowance for bikers rite? so i guess hachi is gonna ride ur r6 tml?

Dont think so cos I dont know where to park and bring a helmet will post lot of inconvenience as well....Most likely Bus/MRT combo.

I checked with them before...Our training will be at Bishan or Kim Chuan Depot...

If that's the case then I can ride there..Most likely R6 if there are sheltered car park. If not my sonic will do the job...hee hee

 

I guess you are the youngest in the group...But you got a great start at this age..

 

Not many company would invest training on employees...All BS one....Put your in front of machines ask you to have initiative learn yourself...Have all kinda of Shxt last few years....

I even had to ask operators to teach me...Haiz....]

 

But the HR said that most CSO are older than me as well....Well to manage them will post some challenges... Might pick up some books on management along the way...And tons of things to learn...Let's work hard and I also hope the circle line managers will be unite...And we can have a great team...

hmmm i tink most prob kim chuan depot... its written all over the place. but it will be super gd news if training at bishan depot, or best woodlands depot. i cn walk to work evryday. neway wat u mean wher to park? tml at smrt hq cn park inside... free summore.

 

yeah true to manage the older staffs will be veri challenging. some CSO are lao jiao, worked at other mrt stn b4, older n more exp in work n life than u. that is the main problem i foresee too, same as u. so picking up books on management skills will be veri useful along the way.

You tried before. Cos I know we might go to other depot for orientation. So dont intend to go HQ by bike. If go home from kim chuan or Bishan then I have to come back city hall to pick my bike again...No point. Some more got ERP as well...
