its ok. my bike survived a head on collision and now the engine is still running strong.

 

bro, most prob it's petrol overflow.. Shouldn't be a problem.. Let the overflow petrol settle some time and u can start the bike normal again..

Mine a FBA plate 2 yr old my bike , recently found out tat throttle grip very tight ,and when throttle seem no power like tat, use certain strength to maintain at certain speed. not so springy as when i bought the first day .

 

went to mechanic , he say inside oil dry le, he add oil to lubricate the wire throttle inside. he say 2 yr old bike still new no need so fast change new throttle cable, so he only lubrincate the cable for me, charge me a labour fee of $15 only. after lubricate for me bike got power liao , hee hee. a slightly slow twist of the throttle i can feel the jerk , mean got power le , b4 lubricate no tat feeling de, likke very weak like tat de.

 

so i am asking do u all experience this and wat u all do or wat the mechanic do ?????

Yes i do.Its a normal mantainence thing for me every month to lube the cables(clutch,throttle,rear seat lock),Clean my brake calipers and brake pads,lube the keyhole,basically anything that needs tender loving care.

 

Lucky i live 2nd floor in HDB flat,otherwise i'll treat it like my bicycle.

wish i could be of help to you....im selling aftermarket mirror for S4...if there will be a lot interest,maybe i can ship to singapore. Price at US$ 30.00+./pr. here in Philippines.Might be slightly higher at some stores here.just dunno how much you sell this in Singapore.

my advise for you is to change your grip. at times part of the grip run into contact with the handle or balancer. Change a grip and see if the problem is solve. from what you say, i believe your FC should be very high as well right.

what bike you have? This comes with 2 types of screws 8mm and 10mm. Will fit S4,Bandit,Fazer,Impulse,XJR,eliminator etc.

no idea yet on shipping to singapore...i suggest you consolidate all orders so shipping can be divided to all. This doesn't vibrate at high speeds considering we got worst hi-ways here...iv tested mine at 180kph.

I also have this ticking sound. Im riding spec 3. Its when the engine is on. However it is not the normal knocking sound of the clutch plate housing. Some people have told me that have to do valve clearance. Anw anyone knows how much is it?

hi guys..recently when i was riding on the expressway travelling bout 90km/h & my RPM bout 6..i noticed my speedometer suddenly drops to 0km/h but my rpm still stays the same & the pipe sounds differently.. but after a few seconds the speedometer came back to 90km/h & the pipe sounds normal again..y is diz so?? happen twice on a different days.

Wats your mileage?...Its recommended to do valve clearance every 20 000km unless you always follow the speed limit.

 

Mine is a 46 000km,1 n 1/2yrs old spec 3,send my bike for valve clearance when it reaches 32 000KM ago,one set of exhaust and intake valve clearance is off. The rest is ok. How much?..depends on parts and workmanship 120-200SGD...
