 I went to buy food and parked my bike on double yellow line for 10 min. Come back with the food saw the stupid cisco officer. I tried to plead with him but he said he already key in.wtf. and it costs 70 bucks. He said to wait for the letter to come. Is there any hope if I appeal? and if so where to I go to? Thanks alot.

wow double yellow line, did the officer said what offence? hope u didnt get ur points deducted. frankly if it's $70 n no points, quite worth it, since he consider u @ pavement, not yellow line.

if it's ur 1st time, can try ur luck, hope that time u pleaded with the officer which i did, n he wrote something for me. my appeal was success. i wrote a nice letter which i dropped at TP HQ's appeal box.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

Bro,

When you get the letter, I suggest you go to TP HQ personally & appeal in person. You can meet the officer the same day and state your case. Reiterate that you're a student & it's your first time.

If unsuccessful, I hope you did savour your Char Kway Teow. Cos it's the most expensive one you've ever bought...

Actually I won't suggest going to see the officer personally. If he don't like ur face or voice, no matter what u say, u're done for. What's worse he might be in bad mood or busy.

Being a student riding bike with no $ is not a very good excuse. If u got no $, y ride, just take public transport. If you ride, u must be prepared to bear these extra cost. Unless ur bike is very crutial to you like ur job depends on it and you're lowly paid. Try using a better excuse.

My 2c.

no need to swear him. if he told u that, he's quite nice to u, seeing u a newbie, teaching u a few tricks. remember, u're @ wrong in the 1st place.

suggest u think up a story with convincing reasoning supported with facts. some help here.

i also suspect no points, thus indeed that u're lucky he gave chance.
