its a wedding convoy.

a one way convoy.. from simei to cck..

it'd be a good chance for new riders to get exposed,

vry much because this is a long ride at last 25km ride,

whr riders get to enjoy th clean formation, learn to control speed (you'd know wht i mean whn you'r riding in th convoy itself), & thr's much thing to be exposed too.

if th seniors of PKs wanna bring th juniors for a field trip,

this wld be a good opportunity i believe..

well, this is up to you guys id say..

come up with a list of riders who'r interested in joining,

one rep wld contact me & id fill you guys in with th detailed details..

Yep, I can teach ppl how to DIY hazard lights after Mr Koh's excellent hands on. A good starting point even for people like me who haven't touched a screwdriver for ages much less did surgery on electrical components.

Peter was a star that evening as well!

Might even play with some of my own electrics just for fun, and to improve the existing wiring (bike shops sometimes like to run wires anyhow!)

Mr. Koh - what is the function of the brake modulation circuit? It is a light flashing circuit for...? Additional brake lights?

Ps. Hazard lights super useful for group outings or even to tell other people to stay clear, fat phantom with panniers going to squeeze :3

Besides the main clinic there are a lot of us who can help you get advise or tips on your beginner DIY projects. Just call us nurses while Mr Koh is the doctor lmao

Hey 'missy' my ride needs some TLC, wanna help? Hahahaha....

Lol when's your next bike wash session Patrick.

The rain appears to have died down since we paid no mind to the weather and did a trans-Singapore rally in it.

Yea, we did a mini ride around last night too! We did Adam Rd Hawker den follow by Jln Kayu & chill at Yishun Dam till almost 2am! Fun to cruise around in the middle of the night but today feeling tired! Hahaha...

some of you are asking about the brake modulations...

i wanted to do this too...in fact have bought the electronic kits ...but it didnt work..

the circuit design is taken off from the net..

the design is so simple just 8 components or so...

WANTED HELP TO REVIEW THIS CIRCUIT...ANYONE OUT HERE CAN HELP

OUT?

quote...see attached circuit diagram

"This is basically a flasher circuit modified to turn on and off a bulb instead of a LED. It uses a 555 timer IC working as an astable multivibrator. The flashing rate can be varied from very fast to a maximum of once in 1.5 sec by varying the preset VR1.

The ON time of the circuit is given by:

TON= 0.69xC1x(R1 + VR1) second"

than you

tried wiring up twice but did't workout well... components wrong or?

i show my lecturer when school reopens.

Been busy lately cause i chionging work for the last 3 weeks.. once school reopens, my washing thread gonna be up again ;-D

Early clinic request - suspension setting tutorial. I need the rear end jacked up (increase preload) but a bit leery on just turning the C spanner while the suspension is loaded. As far as physics goes (preload setting works on restricting oil flow only) wouldn't the correct procedure be unload rear suspension, increase preload, release? Otherwise the spring will just be forever in the compressed position.

My bike sits so low in the rear my headlight pushed all the way 'down' is still pointing horizontal to the road. Good for letting people know I'm around but bad because the road isn't illuminated.

Recommend me an aftermarket suspension? The stock rear springs are a bit "short" anyway.

as u have head lights problem..check and adjust your head light position.the headlight mounting can be swivelled to achieve the targeted area in front of the bike..ithink the targeted area is 20ft ahead of the bike.

Believe me that's the first thing I DIY. It's set to minimum depression and the top half of the headlight beam is staring at the ceiling.
