500 gram of food grade orange indicator silica desiccant.

 

 

Orange beads absorb moisture (similiar to thirsty hippo) and turns green colour when saturated. But unlike other commercial dessicant, this is re-usable almost indefinitely!

 

Simply pop the beads into the microwave, ovenette, or leave under the sun, etc, heat it until they turn orange again! Unlike thirsty hippo or other powder desiccant, they do not turn liquid when saturated.

Instead of buying expensive commercial desiccant, using rechargeable silica beads is cost effective and sustainable.

 

This is different from the more common blue silica beads that contains cobalt chloride!

This is safe to be used for food storage.

- pop a few into your coffee/milk powder to keep the powder from clumping

- pop a few into your food cabinet to better preserve your dry foodstuff
