hahaha! there were some dat use dat b4 but it didn't last long in the heat/sun out here. another thing is dat the cover kept coming off evrytime there was a fall or go tru bush on trail rides. so it kinda die off, bike racks started 2 come out during dis time 2. one of the 1st trail bikes 2 come stock with a rack was the honda mtx 200r. and dat was the end 4 the tupper ware! :cheeky:

I commute with a backpack. But its not like I carry a rain coat around. =)

Don't travel long distances so most of the time i'm willing to put of with the rain. Nevertheless, I have an idea to share with you guys. Don't know if someone has thought of it before.

You know they have "saddlebags" bags/pouches that cyclist mount underneath their seats. Available in various sizes. I'm sure we could figure a way to secure it onto the frame underneath the tail. since there's a lot of room/clearance. Only downside is that it's gonna get dirty. then again those bags are waterproof. So you just need to spray off all the crap on it. Think it might work?

No one will know you have a bag hiding underneath your tail, won't affect occupancy if you have a pillion rider. I think it might just work. Someone go try it out! I would but there's not really a need for me to do it at this time. Good luck!

PS; I dig the tupperware idea.

i see a lot of XR4 with big boxes..

i suppose it is not uncool to mount boxes on scrams. :o

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair body expensive and slow.

I am riding a Dr200. I have a side pouch attached to my bike. I DIY it.. It is big enough to squeeze a set of standard raincoat, 1 set of poucho (pardon me if i spelt wrongly), two cloths, a screw driver and a wd-40

hey dinokoh.. do u remove the bags when u're not on ur bike? Coz i seriously need ideas to haul items occasionally and tried duffel bag, but when there's pillion, the seating's a bit constrained. thinking of buying saddlebags or DIY, but scared pple can anyhow kop.. dun wanna invest in a box rite now. btw, we both have the same ride. the toolbox compartment's good place to keep stuff. I place bungee cords, cloth and sometimes parking coupons in there. Wished it was a bit bigger or there's one on the other side.

Hey brother, just to let you know never try the Viper saddle bag(unless you are riding XR, KTM or something with the exhaust will not melt the bag). Just my point of view as it didn't look nice and it didn't work on my bike.

I suggest you should go army market and try to DIY by buying the bags there. It is cheaper though. However, parking coupons should put in a lockable bag.

Just install a givi box behind problem solved. You can put whatever inside without afraid that someone may cut your softbag with a penknife.

I agreed. But i have been using softbags for almost 1 year. Nothing happened yet.

I am using E33 for my ksr110, i put one full face scram helmet , one armour jacket, one foldable umbrella, one rain coat for my boots.

Wat did you put inside the box? E33 can put 2 helmets if i am not wrong.

I was using a full face but i am used to carrying an extra helmet. E33 can squeeze two half face only. Anyway i am still happy with the current one.
