hi guys, just got myself a 04 636, now waiting for collecting on wed..erm, a bit wonder i made a mistake cos its power is more hardcore than i even expected! Now a bit scared to go on the road lol. Btw this my 1st class 2 bike so dont have much previous experience. Anyways, hope to hang out with fellow ninjas here in future..

yup mine new bike. engine oil never flow. 1st time i detect tat engine oil never flow i send evershine they say they rectified 4 me. but i gez nt. its still the same. nw the bike at agent. i donno hw long ah gonna b there...

yup under warranty. bt u noe the agent ah. will try find fault wif rider. engine oil nvr flow my fault ah? tis is the 2nd time it happen. the services upset ah...

Wondering if a choice for 2004 or 2005 636, which would u pick? is grey the original paintworks? one for 9k the other for 13k....

 

hopeful it can be of a reliable bike as my existing wave - R.

For me, i would go for the 04. I prefer my bikes with side exit exhaust, cos erm i like my exhaust big and prominent haha. Heard underseat exhaust are ball roasters too..Besides with the 4k saving i can go for a full system, a pc3 and maybe a damper thrown in. Performance wise not too big a difference, ultimately, all boils down to style..oh ya, 05 636 got slipper clutch, but its unnecesary for me cos im not frequently chasing the last milisecond on track.If you arent, why bother about it? lols ..lastly, grey is not the original colour, silver is..so gd luck bro in your choosing.

Hi all ninja riders,

 

I just bought one 2nd handed kawa 636 04 and this bike rocks!! but just got one small problem.The gasket and the rubber sealing for the engine top worn out.

 

Appreciate if any guys can tell me which motortiam have better workmanship can what is the price like for changing gasket??

 

Hope to join U guys for any gatherings in future!! Cheers
