Interested to know if anyone here has done this before and what kind of rig did you use. I use an old minidv camcorder enclosed in a small bag with shirts around it acting as a cushion to minimise vibration with an external mic attached to the rear part of the tank to capture engine sound. The bag is taped on the fuel tank.

It's decidedly low tech but would like to know where I can get some mounted rigs and what are the options available (i.e something like this). I've film some stuff while riding but someone told me that I might need to get a permit or some clearance to video on SG roads(i.e Expressways)? It sounds weird but for the sake of clearing doubts, is this true?

Any suggestions?

Current Rides:

FEB 07 -> NOV 08 [CBR 150]

AUG 08 -> AUG 12 [XJR400]

AUG 12 -> ??? [DUCATI MONSTER 696]

Any suggestions?

Go mustafa camera section and get a $4 mini tripod. Cable tie it to somewhere on your bike, I did it on my handlebar, and mount the cam to the tripod.

:)
