Kinda new bought it ard Aug 2010, right signal light shattered T.T Gonna change on the next servicing. rear 150 should be same as bt90. xD Stock tyre's amount of threading > bt003, roy told me its the quality of the rubber used that would affect the grip on wet surface. O.o

bt090 is a road tyre to me..if max 100% for performance in wet and dry , i will be 65% wet and 85% dry..

quality of rubber is affecting but that will be more in detail..

to make it simple i recommend you some.. price refer to TYRE !

All these should be able to cope in wet and dry nicely =)

As for review look up at youtube..

great bike, but im sure you guys may want to get abit more power out of it.

you can:

1) install K&N air filter

2) power abuser(auto-ignite)/voltage stabilizers

3) iridium spark plugs

4) exhaust(best felt/installed after installing k&n air filter)

enjoy

Hello,

New rider for daelimRwr here. Been lurking round these forums for quite sometime now. Anyone tried the Bridgestone Battlax 003 yet? Thinking of changing stock tyres.. fell while riding up carpark slope probably due to wet tyres. -_-

i opted for the bridgestones for my deal. the bt003 quite slippery on wet patches. mine is just afew days old so i have avoided taking corners with the tyres. now monsoon season lah i dont think its a good idea to get this tyres now. haha.

Sierraheart must be shy coz I PM'd but no reply :)

Hi

Wise decision to get rid of the stock tyres. I'm using Battlax 090 and I think it's great.

One of my friends tried the 003 and he felt that the profile of the tyre is quite sharp as opposed to the 090's rounder profile. The result is that the bike will lean more abruptly when taking corners. Mind that he rides an Aprilia RS125 and he is a sponsored track racer.

I recommend using 090s or 023(sports touring, will last longer than 090). You may also want to consider Michelin Road 2.(good wet grip and long lasting)

cheers

trafalgar, see my post above. 003 is actually quite a good road/track tyre and needs to be familiarised with a wee bit longer than 090.

Great info on prices, Binteng :thumb:

I agree that the bt003 quite awesome under dry conditions... But if i corner during rain or just after might just make me skip a heartbeat or worse still... Turn my briefs brown. Haha.

Anyways dude[dudette..??], any good decal shop to recommend..??

If you like the design on my bike, go to Bukit Merak and look for David. He has the template already. Get a quote and then ask him to email template to their new branch at Ang Mo Kio for installation. As its a new branch, it should be cleaner and hopefully you won't have to go back like I did...

Any colour but White Eagle, ok?

If your bike is red, maybe you can try an outline design i.e. fill body with colour of your choice with white outline. :thumb:

Remember to post pics here pls.

cheers

(Y) Price List, @Binteng ^^

Lol ram, just didn't see the pm until like ytd. =) Mmm my concern was whether the tyres has grip on wet tractions rather than doing cornering >.

considering Michelin Road 2 VS Bridgestone Battlax 003
