Which is better for transport ? (in terms of F/C and comfort)

Hi guys,

 

Am intending to get a dirtbike for transportation purpose come september. =)

 

currently am comtemplating between these models - DRZ400S / XR400 / DRZ400SM / XR250.

 

need you guys to help me out here, as all my life, i only ridden my wr2 and my x1 kup..

 

mind helping me answer the various qn ?

 

1. fuel consumption for each bike ? stock.

2. which one more comfy? for transport and pillion.

3. which one got the biggest aftermarket fuel tank ? hehe

4. kick start or e-start ?

 

5. how much does a 2nd hand one cost ? i mean , the estimated range ?

 

also would appreciate if u can offer any inputs, like pros and cons ? and also the additioonal pointers ? like for the SM i can go track once in a while ? etc ?

Yo, i got a fren riding a XR400. He says the fuel consumption is pretty gd. His full tank is 12L, able to run 300++ km before it hits reserve. Tats wat he says.

And its kickstart.

hmm is it still able to get drz-s model locally now?

because i'm also really tempted by the s model.. but i had a fren who's ridin a 02 drz400s model..hmm think once told me the full tank(ard 11-12L) last ard 205 to 210km
