Hi Ru21, yes thats my baby - the colour blue is my favourite colour. However, i think you may not be able to find this model in Singapore (as mentioned by one of the guys in this forum. Perhaps you can check with Yamaha dealers in Singapore if they are bringing this XTR (Enduro) model to Singapore. I'm riding it in U.K and its pretty popular here and in european countries. You can see other angles of the bike at my picture website listed on my profile page (on the bikepics website).

The bike is a 125 cc bike and the pick-up is good, a 4 stroke engine and its 5-geared. I actually wanted to buy the Yamaha DT 125 but its a little too high for me, so i settled for the 125 XT after passing my CBT (1 day compulsory basic training). It crazy how i get to learn how to ride a bike in the U.K. Its just a one day lesson, where they teach you how to change gear etc etc whatever there is to know about riding a bike and on the same day - i get to get on the road ! They will then test a few things on you on the road - like turning, switching lanes etc and at the end of the day, will give you a certificate that says you can ride on the road on an L plate, No pillion riders and no-riding on a motorway. I bought the bike the next day hehehe.. thats it just one day.

heres another picture attached.

theres another 2 yamaha scram.

Serow xt225, Tricker xg250, both are class 2A bike.

Tricker seat height will be lower due to the smaller wheels, measureing at 790mm.

I think learning how to ride on a lower bike would be nice. It just gives us extra confidence. If scramblers are too tall till it shatters the confidence, then I think its not the time yet. However, 1.58m still can ride a scrambler, however the electric start is more crucial if you wanna go offroad. on tarmac you can have the bike lean on side stand and stand on the pegs to kick it. On dirt, the bike isn't going to stand that way. I'm only 1.65m and practically most of the bikes I've ridden I can only have one foot down plus tip toe. It didn't stop my passion to ride. Hope you can feel the same too if you are passionate about riding. If its for transport purpose, just go for DR200.

Get a ksr 110 (power okok) ...or a pit bike super torquey(offroad Only)... just that is kinda small... offroad it will be easier to handle.... btw ktm4 the seat height is kinda low... xr4 very high... xr125 erm power too mild i must say.... but saddle height is good....if i were u i would get a ksr110 then after that a ktm400 ....

eh...

DR200 is pretty low actually...

i have tried sitting on it in showroom...

both legs can stand with the whole sole on the floor...

n my knees are bended too...

im abt 1.75m tall...

so for someone abt 1.6m tall, shouldnt be a problem at all...

anyway, if ur riding a scrambler, n if its too low, den wont look nice liao...

n oso defeat e purpose of getting a scrambler...

n ru21,

my advice is that, get a 2nd hand bike for ur 1st bike...

especially if its a 2B bike...

learn how to take care of it...

n when u want to sell it when ur upgrading to a bigger bike in future, u wont incur such a big loss as compared to a brand new bike...

Hi guys and girls

I'm 1.75 and definitely getting a scrambler but im stuck between 3 bikes

kdx200

xr200

and a wr200

ktm2 is definitely out for me because I intend to get my 2a license

I'm thinking of getting a 2nd bike

But I heard from my friends that kdx200's parts are really really hard to find

wr200's parts are also hard to find but not as hard as the kdx but wr is a 2 stroke

xr200, my friends said i prolly get tired and bored of it very quickly cos the seat height is quite low.

I'm really really into the kdx but the parts v hard to find!

If anyone has resources on where to get kdx200 parts it'd be much appreciated! :cheeky:

So any advise? anyone? :cry::cry::cry:

Oh ya i'll be using the bike for off road purposes also

WR 200, KTM 200, XR 125, XR 250, KLE650ABS
