Well, hope that Newcastle's 49 year old record against Portsmouth continues... it was really depressing watching the Reading-Newcastle game. Same lousy play by Newcastle as they had shown when they played bottom club Derby. SIGH!

If you asked me, it was yet another poor performance. Actually, I kinda attribute it to Barton's introduction, Geremi's 'willingness' to play in any position, and Big Sam's shuffling of his defence everytime they falter. No doubt his defence is the strongest that I've seen yet in recent times. What with captains from Marseille and Lyon joining Newcastle and all. I expect to see a better performance next time round.

from last night match, i think Big Sam woke up and realised

he need to make use of the flanks, thus the inclusion of Milner,

but why was N'zogbia not in left mid and in left back instead?

can use Enrique as left back what...

Perhaps we have too many midfielders.... Too bad Martins was introduced too late. Tot he could have bring the game back for us.
