well there 1 roadshow @ eastcoast but only showing 08 gilera runners

 

other than tat i dun think any shops is open today

there is one 2nd hand Grand Majesty 400 @ ASP Toh Guan. price also abt 6k. condition still in good shape. u might wanna check that out? at least their after-sales-service is there.

 

really? called up the salesman situated there on Fri but he said his side no 400cc japanese scoot wor...:confused:

Hi peeps,

 

Thinking of getting class 2a scooters and majesty is one of the options.

 

Now that there's other class2a scoot like X8 evo 400, silverwing, burgmans... i can't decide which is the best in terms of maintainence, f/c, touring ability.

YP400 FC is 22km/l-24km/l as compared to YP250 28km/l-32km/l. Power wise, the acceleration of the 400 is much better and all round performance is definately better than a 250. Stability is slightly better due to it's weight.

 

After riding it for 25000km, went for a transmissing check.....I changed only rollers and u-clips. The rest of the transmission stuff as good as new. At 45000km, went for another check, changed rollers and u-clips again, belt still good but I opt to change it to be safe....so belt can last quite long and the rest is still good.

 

Bro....ultimately a 250 is a 250 and still a 250. If you are looking for better performance and FC is not of any concern, go for a 400. I used the 400 for daily commuting with the OC and I was doing outdoor sales at that time. I would say that it's a good bike and power delivers anytime u twist the throttle.

 

Storage of the 400 is great as it stores 2 FF helmets and with a box, it's superbly great for grocery shopping....haha.

 

After riding both the 400 and the 250, I can only say that the 250 is more comfortable and good for relaxed riding.

 

Unless you are a gadget freak, buy the 400 and like you say...cheaper than the majesty sport.

I have a customed Majesty250 for sale. Not Urgent sales though.

 

Details of the bike as follows:

 

COE - June 2010

Rd Tax - June 2009

Insurance - $200+ (age 27 + 20% NCD)

Milage - Coming 90 000

 

 

Customised Parts:

 

1. Head Mask

2. Side Crowl

3. Brake Disc (front and rear)

4. Full Audio system with headunit (sony) and amp included (one of the best set-up)

5. Unique LEDs fitted

6. Aluminium Foot Panels (New - not fixed)

7. 2-way adjustable Rear shocks (Daytona - New not fixed)

8. Full naked handle bar series

9. RPM-meter

10. Volt-meter

 

Bike has been fully overhauled including new crank-shaft, piston, piston ring, transmission and magnetic coil totally about $2400 (all done at Wonderful - Botak) with all regular servicings done by him too!

 

My customised parts costing around $3000! Therefore, buying this lovely bike is just buying the new transmission and the customised parts!

 

Asking price: $5500 (neg) include a new paint work of a single colour

never. cos its made for the majesty YP250. even if u mod to mount, you won't pass the inspection also.

not worth the cost to modify for YP400 neither.

different bike suit different pipe. Exhaust is NOT universal. They are NOT one size fit all.

the sound is bassy but IF u wan loud, u gotta take out its sliencer...
