How about swapping an R1 shock to Fz1? Anyone had this experience before. Not interested in spending too much on an ohlins or yss for that matter. The oem was good enough for me and my ride but since its already pass the 10yrs mark, for sure there will be many wear and tear replacements this year.

 

Do enlighten.

The R1 rear shocks are not interchangeable because the rear swingarm is different. The front however can be swapped directly,together with the radial mount callipers.

Damm miss the FZ1~!

 

Speaking of which, i still have the OEM rear shock for FZ1. i swapped it out for an Ohlins, no leaks.

If anyone wants to get it from me PM me. for a fee of course.
