the simplest is to check your headlight if it got dim a bit when you're idling... then u try throttle a bit, check if your headlight got becomes brighter or not... hahaha! :D

 

alamak. This one also I know. My headlight does not show this symptom. anyway I will try to head down unique after work tomorrow and get this problem rectified..

but i not sure if tune rear shock, how much will be the impact to the front fork... maybe they will be... maybe not... :D

TBC again, we'll let you know if there's any.

 

Feel like doing something to the front fork, maybe could change the springs I guess. Anyway, will find out more before action, not very experience with these stuffs.

Guys able to share where is the best place to mount the iu unit?

Currenty it is mounted with a bracket on mu handle bar and it's kind eye sore with one chunk on my handle bar while riding.

I can't take out completely as I need to use it.

 

Any ideal place for fz1?

bro, i seen come fz1 bros have their IU unit pasted onto the side dashboard... but pls use a better 3M double side tape ok? if u dun wan to drill holes... :D

Putting an IU on the side panels will cause it to rattle/vibrate. In the long run, the sideboard could crack...

If put on side dashboard like got no finger space to open the iu cover to insert cashcard

Perhaps, after prolonged periods. That's a pretty thin piece of plastic, and the old IUs are heavy.

 

The new thinner IUs might be a diff story though.

OK la. New unit should be fine. I'm still on the old unit. So managed to find a good clamp for it. DIY one as mentioned.

 

Cost me $12 to have it fabricated and installed.

Ask the Bae Yong Jun lookalike riding the FZ1. :angel:

He likes it.
