Been using Maxima 15w50 for my previous FZS1000 and the current FZ1.

 

Well, its not exactly cheap, but quite happy with it. With the old bike, it seems there's a roughness creeping starting from the 4000km mark onwards.

 

For my current ride, I am sticking to a oil change every 5000km.

No problems such as difficulty is engaging gear, whatsoever though.

 

yea upz for maxima 15/50, using it too....find it just nice and within the budget..

i don't think you could find a new fz6 as it is out of production already.

but i seen 1 brand new fz6 at the below locations.

hope it helps and it is not sold.

- bike shops opposite TP HQ at ubi road 1

- bedok industrial park beside simei ave

- display bike in mah motor

- try HL?

 

cl 2 bike for a 22+ years old guy should be very expensive in insurance terms.

try checking that out before you purchase any bikes.

 

FC for stock brand new fz6 should be betw 19-21km/L.

generally, 4 SP & 3 bottles of EO needed. it will be stated clearly in user manual when u got the bike.

top speed is up to each individual. depending on how big is your balls.

 

if you're talking abt the fz6 comes with full fairing, that should be fz6r.

but, for fz6, u still can buy additional oem full fairing like yatz.

 

usually touring, we would alws go at our own comfort speed.

it would be up to each individual again.

some bros here their comfort speed might be 180km/hr, some might be low, 140km/hr.

just to add on, there's a bikeshop with brand new fz6 along the row of bike shops on the same stretch with planet motor (near tp hq). somewhere in the middle at the stretch.

insurance for 22+ years old should be in the below 25 age bracket, therefore about 800+- after 15% ncd. before about 1000+-. tpft.

 

wasted sg dun bundle the fairing together. other countries have that option.

if dun mind the detuned fz6 engine, looks, side exhaust, fz6r is also good..

 

yeah top speed is about your guts.. but on youtube i saw its about 240+km/h. i nv reached that speed. i am a slow rider. straight slow, corner slow, dry slow, wet/sandy lagi slow.

Toothbrush + kerosene/ GT85/...etc?

 

Back breaking and time consuming stuff...i cleaned the chain a week ago.

Looks nice, but it's hard earned. haha...

spot on! i use either toothbrush or those small paint brush, with kerosene or gt85.. i sit on kerb to clean.. now with mainstand.. even easier..

Normally I use WD40 and an old t-shirt to wipe the chain every month. works for me. WD40 getting ex. where to get it cheaper???
