BHP wise if u just install end can, dun bother comparing cus max is like give u 1 or 2 unnoticeable BHP.. lol..

u have to do a lot of things, spend a lot of monie & time if u wan significant increment of BHP..

for more info on what it is and what is it function, read this..

https://www.google.com.sg/search?hl=en&q=exup&btnG=Google+Search&meta=&aq=f&oq=

answering those question that are not found in the www, if u change end can, u need not take out the cables, it's an option..

but if you take out the servo motor, u might as well take out the cables too..

to know if it's faulty or not (rare condition), there should be an error code (can't remember the number) and u will feel that ur output will feel chocked at higher rpm..

well..u can take out the servo motor(since it not much of a use anymore with the ExUp cables out) to free up the space underneath.

hehe.

yah.. servo motor can leave it or take out..

but exup cables definitely must take out when changing to slip-on. cause no more valves for the cables to 'pull'

on top of what sad_how & aRcHeR statement, if u take out ur servo motor, be sure to install a servo plug aka Exhaust Servo Removal Module (ESRM)..
