if it doesn't fit on your 07, how do you figure that it's for 05 onwards? 05 and 06 models are different Gen's. 05 follows Gen1 and 06 is Gen2.

The mech tried to fix onto my bike but found out that my 07' model fairing holes are too close to each other and the mirror two screwsare far-apart. He dared not to drill another holes on the fairings as it might cause a crack. Bo pian....I had to buy original mirror frm HL, cost me sgd100+ each...

That more like it. Yup 01-05 model (gen1) parts are different from 06-onwards (gen2) . Also need to be careful about the S and N versions.

Ha...ha...thanks for the attention. Mine is 07' FZS1. Didn't know S & N model has different fitting. It was quite difficult looking for the mirror online, end-up bought the wrong year.

mirrors for S model is mounted on the head fairing while mirrors for N model is mounted on the handlebar.. v big diff lei.. lol..

 

buy OEM mirrors la.. then u wun go wrong too..

 

small small aftermarket mirrors see no sh!t man.. i remembered that was one time AYE towards work in the morning, there was a S4 with small small koso-like mirrors, i was all the way behind his arse, i didn't beam nor horn him but i guess he heard my exhaust, he keep on look left & right but he couldn't find any rider behind him! i nearly laughed my arse off!

Ha..ha...true Bro. Had that kind of experience when riding S4 before.

The above FZ1 mirror is same size as original, but too bad can't fit my model.

riding a 2005 fz6s just wondering this morning i encounter a massive brownish leak below the exhaust, i feel it could be coolant coz recently my bike temperature can go up to 3 bars in 5mins which i dont know why also.

Sounds like old brown coolant spilt out. Stand behind the bike go right side just below the leather seat got a small plastic container with a rubber cap. That's a coolant reserve. Ensure it's capped tight, pour in water to middle level if it's empty. Run the engine and check again, repeat as necessary.

 

Better to have coolant than run till burnt.

Hi bro... wen u say exhaust u mean the muffler or the header part?

If its at the header, meaning below the engine, most prob it is ur coolant hose leak due to wear n tear... it turn brown bcos of rust..

I tink its time for u to change ur rubber hoses.. it cost more den a set of good tyre... sucks but true..

Umm... That's not normal. You might want to check the coolant reservoir. But don't forget the temperature sensor. That can also cause a false reading too.

And most importantly, get your bike flushed thoroughly.
