hey guys.. anyone installs a top box on ur FZ1?? i have seen one very unique cube liked box installed on a FZ6 but dunoe wad brand is that. Anyone noes abt that box?? Might wanna share it here if you are the rider (the one who works in exxonmobil refinery)

Which exxonmobil refinery?Pioneer Rd or Pulau Ayer Chawan(Jurong Island) or Exxonmobil SCP-Singapore Chemical Plant. Whats the bike color?hehehe, if a midnite blue fazer 6 S2 with a black KAPPA top box with leovince pipe that would be me from SCP. So far only me riding S2 there.

mine is with a gobi top box, dull silver in colour, cube like shape, brand is hepco & becker. There is also an alunimiun type by the same maker. another one is by SW Motech also cube like in shape but all these boxes their own brand of mounting bracket. Shops which seels these items are

Auto Machinery @ Rowell rd - Yamaha agent, sure can buy new ones.... its a few shops down after FJT...... after market mirrors are Rizoma sold at Motoworld but are more costly.........

send bike for medical check up @ agent just now & check out the showroom, Vmax17 is extremely nice but the machine price @ $ 48,549 is a killer. Diversion 600 also appealing with unique position of exhaust pipe.

Hi guys,

 

Most probably I'd be a member of the Fazer club soon.

However I have some questions in mind before I confirm my decision to purchase one.

 

1) The FZ6 comes with the normal telescopic forks. Is there an aftermarket option to swap these with USD forks?

 

2) Can someone give me approximate figures for mileage per full tank for both the FZ1 and FZ6?

 

3) Did anyone have issues with the YPS problem with their '08 bikes?

 

4) Im currently riding a super 4. Im a little concerned over my pillion's comfort. Are the seating positions for both bikes similar to the super 4? (for the pillions)
