i think S1 and S2 both about 19+L right?

my milage is pretty bad... before mod can only hit bout 270km and my reserve open...

now even worst.. bout 240 odd reserve open liao...

anyway for fazer 6 gen1 should be 22L

fazer 6 S1 & S2 both have the same tank capacity... 18L.. can go about max 310km before hit reserve... most mileage i had clocked 355km and top up to 17.3L.. almost dry liao.. if always blast usually about 270km - 285km den hit reserve..

 

my max mileage for main tank (15.8L) is 336km on my 3/4 full loaded side panniers... but that is just to test my max mileage... but sibei sian when u see cars & bikes zoom pass u while u ride like an old uncle... well, i'm sure there are more bros who can hit better mileage than me...

 

my condition to hit 336km: move off and change gears from gear 1 to 6 at 3.5krpm or 4krpm, final drive runs at 90km/hr max...

only thing i can think of is dat i did hard break in instead of normal run in... dats the only difference i guess.. cos i and my friend both bought the bike together... his milage is also better dan mine...

same set up i don tink so... ay if clone same plate no hor... but i just realise urs is s2 rite.? his fazer is s1 and tat particular guy haf same side panniers as urs but only no autobot logo:lol:.. and he also change his pipe but never capture wat brand... plte no start FY (2 digits if i can recall)...

Am planning to get a brand new Fazer-1N, to go touring once in while.

 

But heard this new Fazers are not meant to be fitted with H&B or for that matter any side panniers. If I really want to, I will have to drill holes, weld the rack etc etc. And might suffer the consequences of a weaker chassis or alike!

 

Anyone care to clarify?

Touring wise...i would recommand you to Get a (Fairing Version) FZ1S,Becos of the front set up and higher wind shield,FZ1N and FZ1S have bracket as Wat yos_bikey have said.

yes all fazer have ready to install bracket cos the bike (FZ1 & FZ6)had been out on the road for quite sometime, yammies panniers r more ex, therefore most of us got H & B boxes installed, think boxes + rack cost around 1k

and the low beam is H7... dun buy wrong wan... i wanted to buy white light for low beam thinking H4 is low who knows...

so far i nvr tio any ROV or road blocks... i dun wan to say there's 100% okay to pass or not okay to pass... sometimes, it depends on the stupid ROV police or road block person... see if he/she is having 'big auntie' or not... LOL~

aiya, when it comes to inspection, change everything to stock la... or ask bike shop to do it for u especially if you have aftermarket exhaust...
