Machine price alone is abt $18K plus last mth for ABS 09 version.. Non-Abs 17K plus...

as of OTR price with insurance n coe, etc...depends on which shop u getting from.

Best is to ask a few shops for quotes...before u decide...

i just booked my appointmen on next tues afternoon...their sat is never available one cos they only open half day......

 

sians have to take half day go servicing -.- ...by the time i go servicing my mileage is 1300 km already

 

what happened was i booked an appt for servicing, actually is today. but last week i was ard the area so i called to check if they have available slots and the girl said "come on over!" hahaha... so i went.. but on the phone she did ask what servicing la, so i told her it's 1st kkm then she say ok, think 1kkm servicing is quite fast, i was in and out within 1hr plus. but no bike wash for free labour servicing. hope this helps. =)

just did my 1kkm servicing at hong leong yamaha, cost $56++ with the free 1st servicing coupon, change EO, oil filter. next servicing at 3kkm also free labour. not sure how much it cost to service else where thou, can anyone share their experience? =)

 

i have a caberg rhyno flip-up, very light and cool!! built in shades can just bring down and up as and when i like! don't know how much as i got it as a gift from my cadets. haha... =D

A full repaint job for a naked bike will cost you in the region of under $400 probably. A full faired bike, with 2 main colors (we're not talking race livery here) will cost around $500+ to $600 usually.

 

So you have to weigh the cost of a plastic shield vs a new paint job.

 

No matter what, UV exposure will eventually make the shield yellow, and constant exposure to rain and the soap and chemicals used in your wash will eventually cause the shield to peel off. It is still a adhesive backed plastic sheet after all.

 

When that happens, you'll have to replace your shield.

 

But your paintjob will probably be scratch free. So you have to decide how you want to go.

the free servicing coupon that comes with the bike, in a small booklet. bike pro shld have given to u when u collected ur IC and pay first installment with them. there's also another free servicing coupon in there for 3kkm servicing. the oil for 1st service decided by them, still using mineral. for 3kkm i'm not too sure. maybe semi syn? hmmm...

Trust me... I've had, erm... some experiences... with respraying a couple of my bikes, due to the obvious reasons. When the time comes to respray, due to a drop or faded paint, then just go ahead and do it. Head fairing, tail fairing, tank, and possibly belly pan. Not much plastics there. Shouldn't be as expensive as a sportbike job.

 

If you look at it another way, doing a full sticker or faux CF wrap of your bike is also gives the same protection factor as Raceshield.

 

Plus... it changes the looks of your bikes completely.

 

 

Again, it's all up to you. For me, I make sure to wash and wax my bikes about once a month.

have been using the tank bra for a year...its on the bike almost everyday...

 

from my obeservation, my tank is scratch free from the tank bra...if it rains, just dismantle it and sun dry it loh...

 

but for the sixxer's do take not the mounting bracket near the seat sometimes may rust...just ensure u spray WD40 so as to remove the rust and prevent more rust from building up there

tank bra will scratch ur tank, if you dun frequently take out and clean. As small stones or something might have gone in between tank bra and tank, if never take out, movements and vibrations will den scratch it...
