To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

it shows poor planning... and hence you shall be stuck in this debt cycle till you do some debt management or expenses planning

why do you make things sound so simple?

not everyone gets a chance to draw enough salary to save any substantial amount.... give them a break.

tats interesting, how about putting it this way.

1) what makes a substantial amount? is the lifestyle your having now way above then you can afford it?

2) who is to be blamed for the substantial amount or the lack of it?

3) if the situation one is in now is not by his own will or his own fault, how can he improve it?

maybe he trying to show that he got many many savings?

maybe he showing tat he earning a lot?

maybe he is offering some jobs to ppl (according to his signature), like MLM? just to do it discretly?

well perhaps you should 'maybe' less cause watever you believe in is true. dont doubt ur own belief. if you think tat im earning alot, haf tons of saving, and offering jobs to pple, ur right, in ur own context.

lol

I was kinda referring to some other folks that i see which are not having any substantial savings.

as to what is 'substantial', it really depends on earning power. 25% is a good number in my opinion.

babies born in the different years live their life rather differently and from the way i see it....

  • 50s and 60s have it worst due to the lack of emphasis on education and career choice (referring to my parents).
  • 70s babies are educated but observed to have poor financial sensibility.
  • 80s babies are educated and have better finacial sensibility (learn from experience).
  • 90s babies are on the way....
  • 00s babies are kinda still drinking milk.. :p

2 cents... i'm sure there are success / failure cases in each year i've mentioned...

asking 'who is to be blamed for the lack of subtantial savings' is not appriorate.... you're not the subject, you will never understand.

cheers!
