keep in mind adding brackets to the shocks doesn't solve any PROBLEMS.. more dangerous got la!! no need to get new shocks also can bro.. go service your shocks..

 

service my shocks..which one ar?? the front one or the back one?? even the slightest hole or uneven road i can feel it shake on my already injured back.

service ur back one..ur front one if cannot make it will have the oil seal brken.

Hi all, i just got a 2nd hand y125

 

 

Qns: Everytime cold start my bike will eventually dies off w/o using choke, idling had been set @ 1.3k, but still the same, u guys always need choke cold start?

 

2 Qns: My bike mid range very sluggish, just did full servicing after getting the bike, goes for all gears, sluggish btw 2-3k rpm. but once after 4k, (valve seems open?) all the power suddenly come back, wonder if it the setting., sianz pickup time always kana tailagte... zzzzzz

 

3rd Qns: does ur pipe sound loud? mine seems like kui toh pipe, sianz... inspection soon, praying for clearance.

 

any kind soul ans all my doubts?

mine is depend where i park my bike, if under shade sumtimes need choke.if not under shade and the suns shinin bright and wide.one time kick will start.

blurblur_racer, 125z standard pipe music is loud but non standard ones are louder. to check whether its standard or not u need to look out for sum engravings on the pipe near the back hole. OR u can simply knock the back part of the pipe, if it sounds empty, its not standard and if sounds full of sumting its standard.

Be careful, if pipe is tong too much, acceleration will be like ku ku slow.

service your rear monoshock.. it should be cheaper than buying new one.. if i am u, i would service not buy aftermarket ones.. cos the original kayaba suspension fairly good.. service as in change the oil.. check for leakage..

since long ride a 2 stroke....

 

for the starting problem, go check ur spark plug.. maybe its dying off soon.. if its very 'wet' with petrol, that means ur carb setting too much petrol.. this may apply to ur sluggish cruise too.. if not check your sprockets and see is it for distance or pickup.. if this doesn't help, service and re-set ur carb.. if this still doesn't help.. maybe ur reed valve spoilt..

 

about valve open, 125z don't have valve like tzm, kr or sp..

 

for pipe cannot help u cause need to look at the pipe and also listen whether the sound very empty or not..

OK!!! ill send my shocks for servicing next thurs and do a lil bit of shopping for bike.Nowadays got to study la.

 

lotsa things to do fer bike. till recently i had a dream bout being late fer sch cause bike cannot start.then i clean sparkplug then can already. then woke up really late fer sch.HAahah..

times like this u need a old timer mechanic or rider.. such as skazuz and niterider to conferm.

my friend overhauls his 125z himself.. he told me 125z and rxz no valve.. all 4-stroke have valve.. 2-stroke 150cc and above have.. below 150 only some have.. e.g. the yamaha RD 125.. but not rxz and 125z.. can ask any shops that is very familiar with 125z i can bet he say don't have..

after much discussion.the bottomline is 125z no valve except for something call the reed valve AGREE??

my frens 125z sprocket can move abit when the tyre is not moving.When park sidestand the rear wheel is touching the ground hence its not moving rite,but the sproket can wiggle about 1cm like that. its coz by the spoiled hub rite?? the rubber2 thingy inside the wheel rite??

Yes. 125Z only got Reed Valve. Not Powervalve. Nothing spectacular about a powervalve (although the name suggest 'Power!!'). Just aid mid and bottom end power that's all.
