my airbox open half one. just take out the other half of the airbox can already. sound is loud. regarding carb just wash every time when normal service can already.

oso, too much air will take away low end power

 

lastly, it may cause lean condition and jam the piston if u did not rejet the bike.

Yar........mine too. U use the white cleaning sponge and cut it into a square shape and put it inside my airbox.

hi guys i drill my air box liao lol.. hole around 0.8cm i drill 7 holes.. the sound quite power... i got ah boy buy 125z air filter lor don know can use any kind of sponge de.. and so more ah boy sponge like fish tank 1 lor lol.. but i haven retune yet sia.. like u throttle no power de must throtte more den can go..

my opinion is, moto tk sakit, it all depends on the rider n the rider need to have standby cash..

 

So far when i rode tzm, 1 tyme overhall, piston jam, its becoz my 2t doesnt flow at all n i didnt check. 2t pump spoil.

 

2nd tyme overhall, piston jam, sumthing broke, oil seal or wat i 4got which made the coolant leak without me knowing.

 

3rd tyme didnt overhall but still piston jam, tk g service for like more than 6 months, bo chap, no money. Coolant dried up n i use my bike witout coolant cauzing it to overheat n jam. But naseb this bloc was Y1 bloc.. it has abit of endurance, tahan lasak..

 

Like i say, all u need for a tzm is money n tyme to take care of it..

 

But the most sakit part about tzm is, difficult to start (everytime i want to start bike must tarik choke),

 

but the Valve is the most jia lat ones.. The rod always break n the valve servo aka valve CDI also easily spoil, i think i change the rod about more than 5 tymes already, Valve CDI 2 times n it cost $250(RM550) per CDI..

 

The CDI got no local ones n it could not be repaired.. I use a new CDI n i last onli for 3 - 6 months.. than rosak again.. naek malas aku nk layan valve dier

 

But overall for a TZM good bike la, can go, can beat the hell out of those krr n SP, Can even gigit a spec 3.. But not my bike, i didnt mod that much on tzm, coz all my mods money become repair money.. LOLS.. i onli use Y Y Pang racing pipe n ported my carb.. that all..

Always dreamt about modding my tzm, port bloc, uma racing carb, AHM racing pipe, 2 seater sharptail, one eyed head fairing, a decent paintwerk, good setting n jetting.. this is the part where u can gigit a spec 3 with yoshimura full system fire spec.. Sedapp broo.. even TZM is good @ conering.. Corner tak ingat dunia..
