I paid $75 for bike season parking via online, normal?

My fren said it's only $15? How come the website prompt me to pay $75? Does it include a one time registration fee or something?

I tried to search this forum for this topic but to no avail, hope someone can answer my queries... thanks.

I know you can choose to pay from 1 month up to a year, Its for renewal. I thought first time you have to go town council to apply?!!!

yah, 1st time applying for season parking must go to town council to apply... better u go down to the town council with ur bike paperwork n softcopy of ur online transactions or sumthings... $75 is like 6mth of season parking.

sia lah... how come lidat sia. sian... i select the option expire until 1st Jan 2009, but each time renewal is for 1 mth period mah... i'm sure i selected motocycle, cuz i tried to apply again and again it quoted me $75.

edit: or could it be i selected expire till 1st Jan, then they automatically count Jan as 1 month period? in that case 1st Sept to 30th Jan would be 5 months. in that case 15 * 5 = 75 makes sense rite? wl self pwned sia... so how to inform those ppl i want to expire until 30th Jan ah?

when u choose to expire 1st jan 2009, you are already covered to 31st Jan cos they count from 18 December 2008 for your Jan 2009 parking.

just leave it, when u move, go to ur new town council n ask them for advice.

 

it's best u call up ur town council n check ur expiry, hard to tell. u can ask them at the same time if u move can transfer the carpark.
