FYI, I checked with Looi's Motor in Ubi, and he quoted $4.9k OTR (incl. insurance) for new Spark... Say he's the cheapest. Hong Leong is listing it for $4.6k w/o insurance now.

looks like im gettin frm d most expensive shop.. im like payin 5.7k with insurance. ahakz.. anyway im payin extra 200 coz they say asph has a policy such that even those who pay full cash must pay a fixed interest of 200 bucks.. coz they encourage ppl to pay by instalment. my loss.

ya i signed everything.. ahakz.. nvm la.. its ok.. everything happens for a reason. haha. dats hw im consoling myself anyway ther is not much difference.. except for d fact dat im payin 200 bucks interest though pay full cash coz the shop policy is such.. but in return i heard that d shop offers good service.. even im happy wit their service so far.. so shud be ok.. =) Lets drop this topic here. haa. Yes they say it's all parallel import direct from Thailand. They claim this is better because the emission standards there more easy so the engine settings are put at higher power, and there is no catalytic converter for lower emissions. Dealer bikes have smaller jettings and exhaust, and power is lost because of the cat.

 

I'm not expert. Didn't buy anyway. So is this true?

i tot it comes wif orig footrest liao? if u bought it as 2nd hand bike, mayb u can ask it back from ex owner. and im sorry tat i nv ans ur qns on how much does it cost.
