Aftermarket exhaust could make it more appealing.. The headlight without any protection is a bit dangerous.. Especially if going north into malaysia.. Imagine if just one small stone hits the headlight.. Unless they can come up with a headlight protector that sits nicely and tight..

feel free to open up another thread for Aprilia lovers.. (my first bike is a Aprilia)

 

Headlight can always be protected by our advertisers (RACEshield)..

i believe they will have te solutions if this beast arrive in our shores..

 

IMO, the white paint with red chasis is very attractive.. looks like it had a shorter wheel base than previous years..

the whole bike looks like it's being compacted.. a very distinct facelift for the R1 series..

a bit disapointed after long wait, ugly bulky exhaust... :sian:

 

Hopefully after market exhaust can bring the R1 looks better.

wow I read the service mannual the ECU have 2 16 bit control ECM not inculded 4 riding profile. the engine have a purpose for the desgin in the crankshaft for two profile. is a nice bike with so many riding profile. low-mid, mid-hig, all rounder.. Guy what do u all think.. it might look a bit funny but the technologic seem very powerful. as i am also a mechcanic the way they mention is pettry correct in the desgin.. how much is the bike in SG.. and the insurance??

didnt see much 2009 R1 on S'pore roads though i feel it looks fabulous... :)
