Hi bros, any1 experienced the headlight blacking out after letting the engine idle for a while after ignition? i was puzzled and tried to restart the engine the light is on again.

 

It happens once a while and now wat i do was to crank the engine again.. is there something wrong with the wiring?

Which version are you riding? If Spec 3, then most probably is your starter switch problem. If you press your starter switch slowly until the mid-way position (but not cranking yet), you will realize that the headlight will be cut-off. This is normal. So, your headlight's blacking out could be caused by vibrations on this switch, causing it to cut-off intermittently or due to bad contact.

 

Another possibility is to check the connector of your headlight's bulb. It can also be due to loose contact.

bro i have the almost the same problem with you.. But mine is with a headlight switch.. Sometimes when i turn off the headlight and wan to on it again, i have to restart the engine again.. It happen more during the rainy period last week.. Now happening less and less liao..
