Hopefully it will not strain your finance with this car.

Anyway I think you will like the KTM X Bow and the Ariel Atom. The real fast cars. These kit cars are the fast track machines. Just like a bike on 4 wheels.

I am meeting Thorsten Eilers after he leaves the paddock tonight or after the race tomorrow. But it should be quite late since he is only commencing his F1 duties after 1600h. Maybe we can all go for supper together. Gotta show him what's a hawker center and show him he can get a meal for as low as 2 Euros in Singapore.

I wonder how the X Bow looks like

An inspiring pure breed race machine. Concentrate on the specs... It's where the assertiveness commence.

Yes considered as a type of kit cars. KTM is a late bloomer in this aspect. The British had came up with a much impressive range of kit cars.

The SR3 should be using the hayabusa engine if my memory serves me well.

The Ariel atom base model is about USD$65k and it is extremely opened for modifications. Still remember about the wheel alignment issue I mentioned to you? You can make adjustments to all 3 aspects to this car instead of only 2 or 1. Basically you can modify the whole car. Really literally the whole car. Production cars are built with too many agendas to fulfill. Therefore over-modification can lead to more problems instead of getting better. This Ariel Atom is the brain child of a British university student. Ariel motors used to make motorcycles.

A production car will never beat a product sports bike in terms on straightline acceleration. A production sports bike will never beat a production car in terms of overall handling on the track. (Of course... the car has 4 wheels) So if you combine the good points of the 2. A vehicle with 4 wheels and the power to weight ratio of a motorcycle... viola... the kit cars.

The closest production car to kit car is the Lotus. If you want a roof and a cabin.

Hey guys, check with you.

For a 2 yr old plus Mitsubishi lancer 1.6M,

The gear stick feels stiff when shifting gears.

I do not experience any clutch slip, so i figured that the clutch plates are still in acceptable condition.

Also the biting point is adjusted at the "halfway" mark. So i also figured that I couldn't be the clutch plates not properly disengaged when i clutch in.

Would changing the gear box oil help?

Btw the mileage is about 66K km.

Tks!
