when stopping at traffic light or wat.. use your rear brake as well.. some of the front brakes are "sticky" meaning 1) no braking 2) hard braking

so yeah...

 

and if u want to move in front a little.. do not trottle too hard. so u do not need to brake hard in case the person in front brakes.. slow and smooth is better den fast and jerky..

i nvr book any CR. coz my CR went quite smoothly for me.

 

booked my pract5 for next thurs. coz tis week exam week.

i dowan to 'tabao' any modules.

 

i used to face all the probs u said. n tis is wad i did..

E-brake.. maintain at 30km/h. dont fall below or exceed that. u see orange light lit up then u maintain jiu hao..

don bother closing throttle when u reach the white line. just press ur BRAKES ONLY. (for me 70% front brake, 30% rear brake) clutch in onli when u abt to stop. if forget to clutch in engine die nvm one. just don fall on ur right.

it is OK to stop anywhere after the white line, but b4 the STOP line.

i fly b4 for e-brake btw.

 

crank/fig8/pylon... same as wad compfused did. cant kick to gear2, then kick to gear3 lor. don care. LOL~

afraid to kick to N-gear then just kick harder lor. the most gear3 only ma. nvm one ma. right compfused? XD

 

at times of stopping.. hmm. u got to look far ahead and plan leh. don go too fast, brake gradually lor.. if u lose balance, like wad compfused said too, lean towards left, or turn ur handle bar a little slight left, then u'll fall left. needs practise la.

 

just go for CRs as and when u like/need. most importantly u must get all the techniques right..

if happen that u gg for CR next week, i can accompany u tho.

XD[/b] I would suggest closin throttle as you brake cause thats where you will get the so called engine brakin..Also no need to waste effort to twist throttle when you brake..Concentrate more on the lever (leverage of the brakin)..Just make sure the light (yellow) lights up..Seems like its now 30km/h..The last time I was told was to go above 35km/h but below 40km/h..And still I exceeded..Ahaha..   Fig 8 can use gear 3..But maintain throttle..Coz at that speed think gear 3 will be quite slow..

If never close how to reach the lever? I'm assumin you have bigger than an average girl's palm? Coz I myself need to let go of abit of throttle to reach the lever and that is by pressin on it with four fingers the way they want us to do..Its one smooth motion..Will be second nature if you practice..As you're closin throttle your fingers should already be reachin for the lever..

Pretty much the same thin I describe cept the thumb (the way I describe) will automatically turn the throttle off..Stick to whatever you feel comfortable with..

was just tinking, the fastest way to react when u need to do e-brake no matter where, on the rd, in the circuit etc... its to reach for the brakes immediately.......
