Daniel, one of my rear light gets foggy too after a rain but it'll be alright when it's all warm. I reckon there's a crack smewhere so that's why the condensation. If I'm not wrong, gotta change the whole light assembly if it bothers you that much. But if your bike is new, it's better to get it done.

As for your underseat compartment, it's gotta be the seal thingy. Check that. Last thing you need is getting all your stuff wet when it pours heavily.....

One of my MP3 rear light is indeed cracked a bit. Can't really see it but it's there. When the weather is hot, it's ok but when it rains, there is condensation and it fogs up. I didnt change mine. Juz living with it.

And no, not going for BikeAsia......

141mpg Piaggio MP3 Hybrid will go on sale in USA Q1 2010

When it goes on sale during the first quarter of 2010, the Piaggio MP3 Hybrid will become the first plug-in hybrid vehicle of any kind to be sold in the United States. Capable of returning up to 141mpg, it will also be one of the most fuel-efficient. Combined with those two factors, the MP3's leaning three-wheel arrangement and low price, somewhere around $8 or $9,000, will make it a uniquely appealing product. ... ...

Think the tire always states the maximum load + pressure.

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...

Use the manual as a guide. Actual tyre pressure depends on the rider usually roughly near the pressure stated as per the manual.

The pressure stated in the manual seems way too low to handle easily.

I agree and that's why I say it depends on individual preferance....

Hey thanks, the servicing 'spanner' is blinking after 7k mileage, so I guess it's back to the mothership at piaggio...

Contrarian, does Wonderful Motors do regular servicing at a lower price for subsequent servicings? :)

I trust Wonderful Motor to the core as he has always done a good job for me with all my scooters. For instance he fixed my clutch slip within 30 min, whereas PSC tried one week earlier and said it was fixed, but wasn't. I told Botak that I'd rather pay him than to claim free warranty repair again.

If you want to do regular servicing, you have to tell him what you want to do because his default position is "things that aren't spoilt or spoiling very soon, don't change". So read your manual, tell him you want him to look at x, y, z, change a, b, c... and prepare for him to say "no need to change". Of course if you don't change, you save money, but sometimes I insist that he changes what he thinks are in good working condition anyway.

yes i agree with what you have mentioned. He only ask you to change what should be change. My dad has always been a full time customer of his. I am thinking of letting him do full servicing for my bike too.

Speaking of warranty repair. They always forgot fix screw back not once but MANY times. Lucky I always check before moving off from that place

Regular servicing or problem fixing? For problem fixing I trust Wonderful Motors at 494 MacPherson Road the most.

I went there once with my atlantic...

I wonder how can you squeeze thru with mp3..

btw his shop is very simple , no fancy stuff.

and i only saw engine oil in 4 liters package.

wondering if that's car's engine oil???

The trick is to know where you can enter - which is from the front of the row, not from Jalan Belangkas. For first timers, I always recommend that you park at Jalan Belangkas or after the bus stop at MacPherson Road, look for him and ask him to drive in for you. Then you'll see how it's done.
