hi all rvfians..jus a gentle reminder if u all go in jb..due to the rain these few days..the roads there r destroyed!!it has become very sandy,rocky n holes r everywhere!a little uncareful will cause u to skid.very dangerous.be very carefull when goin in.

hi redbull, how long did the shop take to change your clutch plates? coz i went to have mine changed but they did it wnen im not around, so wondering whether they did change it at all or not..

Clutch plates max an hour's job.You can feel the difference after the change.Easier to change gears especially to go into neutral.

never leave ur bike alone to any mech. always sit there and watch though u have no idea whats happening. a good mech will explain to u what spoil and why spoil and what has to be done.

is there a big diff ? from full system and the rest. How?

 

price range around $2k for fullsystem, $700 for end can ?

stock header with mod end can will give u more power compared to stock header and end can.

 

full system(after market header) easily improves top end. for better result, use with race end can.

 

dollars depend on your luck.

For headers only 2bros for now.Tyga used to produce but not anymore.I asked them already.Other brand i never heard yet.Motoworld told me in 2004 that they going to bring in Yoshimura FULL SYSTEM for RVF but till now.don't have.

i know one guy selling harris full system for 1800 with end can. that time also got 1 guy selling moriwaki. i strongly dun recommend full system if u r not going to whack out ur bike at high rpm all the time. the mid range sucks.

 

i doubt the full systems most rvf have in singapore are 2 bro. maybe they got the name 2 bro because all were sold here with 2 bro end can.

as amba said..its true tat nt all headers u c on the rd are 2bros.. if u look carefully..the angle of the mid pipe near the footpegs are of different angle.. actual 2bros are front/back. the rest might b yoshi,moriwaki,harris or self made headers...but as amba said oso...if u dun whack den theres no pt in changing the headers jus bcoz every1 is doin it...do wat u nid to do for ur own use...nt b posers jus bcoz pple say its gd...

Hey redbull then i think he did change it. Reason i change the plates was becoz when bike in full stop, its almost impossible to hit neutral from 1st gear. Muz move bike alittle then able to get neutral.

At that time, thought gearbox gone already.. Thxs, a load of my mind. dont have that feeling of being cheated already.

Thx snakeman, coz left bike overnite at shop. Intended to go down early next morning. When reach there at 1+pm, mech told me all done. No choice but to pay and go.

some people like to put everything and proudly say i have everything on the bike. but never utilise it. like that money burn. its like buyin a brand new r6 and never whack it at track.

 

if u think u r an occasional player, get a micron street legal end can will do.

 

just want the noise and some torque, get a yoshi street legal.

 

want power, noise and extra 500 bucks for LTA, get a bolt on race can.

 

on a very tight budget but tempted, go and tong ur exhaust.

 

willing to spend some extra cash and make ur bike run like crab on the road, but like a beast when u head up north, get a full system.

 

whatever i said is my opinion, not an answer.
