How much did it cost to rebuilt your rear suspension?

 

I assume the Hyperpro cost abt $450 from motorworld.. hmm, how does it feel? Any difference? It's on my current wishlist actually..

 

Also, your K&N air filter, is it the breather tube you installed to improve cooling the engine or the actual air filter?

 

And can you tell me again, what does your redrev do?

Nitekidz:

Fairing is the same as the original but is 2 pcs instead of 5. Quality not bad. There's another hanging in Motorworld can go take a look. Yoshi pipe motorworld still have a titanium and a firespec for RVF.

Paintwork I customise myself then bring photo to shop for them to spray. Shop is Sing Huat Motor @ Shun Li Industrial, Kaki Bukit

Regarding the breather tube... Is there a significant difference after installing on RVF? Anyone here installed before pls give some comments...

I'm looking for the bottom lower fairing pieces (right + left + the middle pieces) of the RVF400 or VFR400 (same thing). Anyone has spares in good condition, please let me know.

i waiting for end of the month to order the alarm.. i think quite common.. about 130plus? got auto start and quite abit of features.. I'll let you know so we can order together dude..

But like fierymonkey mentioned, isnt it easier just to do the speedo mod to remove the 180km.h powercut??

 

The racing CDi is more worth it i think.. It removes the rev limiter and accelerates firing..

 

However i have been advised that it might hurt the bike in the long run.. So it might not be a mod i will do soon anyway..

No la bro.. dont say that.. i forgot you selling also.. I only saw his bikes for sale liao.. haha..

 

Anyway, upz for your bike also la.. you did quite abit too.. Mantaining a RVF is not easy.. and it shows that you love the bike to take good care of it..

Dinesh bike has the K&N breather tube.. but i doubt he can tell the difference coz he bought the bike with it on already..

How abt the K&N filter? Any idea for which bike/car filter did they modify it from to fit your RVF?

 

I have been told that K&N does not make airfilters for RVF for quite sometime.. I might check with Pipercross.. Quite a popular and good brand.. i bought for my Aprilia RS125 but havent put in yet.. My friend using it for his R6, he said quite good..

Just bend a metal strip only.

If I'm not wrong they mod the stock filter frame with car's KNN filter. I do know of 2 shops to do it, K&T and Planet. I'm going down to Planet to change this thursday morning. My filter is gone case, just checked.

 

By the way, anyone knows wad bulb does our stock meter uses? T5, T10 or ??? Has anyone tried using wide-angled LEDs to change meter colour?
