Ask you'll ar. Can Michellin Piolet Sports tyres be used in an RVF or anyone used the above tyres on an RVF B4?

 

What are your comments about it?

 

Was thinking of changing tyres.

Can. Pilot sports got 150 rear. Used on my super4 before. Quite good for road use.

no offence to those ppl using those pipe .. but the sound sure beat all .. in terms of bassy not loudness .. i hv heard more louder pipes b4 on 400ccs .. in terms of performance , not having it properly tuned i would not comment on tt .. Ya , amba is right its made in Malaysia ..

check out the oil seal beside the clutch there..open up the cover there...then clean it and monitor..if there drip..then just change the oil seal there..total got 3...if still leak..then might be the engine gasket le...that 1..no chioce..bear wif it..unless u wana overhaul.

bike engine died when i stopped, cant restart it.. headlights cant on, but neutral light's there when i switch on the ignition.. cant push start also.. voltage is very low before the engine died off.

anyone encountered this problem b4?

new to bike, so lots of things need to ask u guys.. sry..

time to change a new batt .. after tt get a mech to check whether ur rectrifer is working or not ...

Actually dun really need to overhaul la can ask your mechanic to modify the groove of the o-ring so can just slot it in and stick with hi-temp gasket maker that will cost ard $70 so no need to overhaul although overhaul is the right procedure. Coz my rvf done it b4 at bikeworkz, been half a year no problems

They are totally uneven, the previous owner used the incorrect tyre pressure.... I was thinking michelin, but what model and size front and rear... ??? can i get these at K&T as well....???

Michelin got 3 tyres. Pilot Sports, Pilot Power & Pilot Race.

 

Pilot Sports - Performance road tyres. good for daily road use with good mileage. Cheapest of the 3.

 

Pilot Power - higher grade than Sports, track/road tyres. Personally using now Mileage almost as good as sports. Grippy even on wets. Should be around $350 a pair.

 

Pilot Race - Track tyres. Super sticky but wear very fast (Less than 1 year all gone). Should be around $400 a pair. Not sure if rear got 150 size.

 

 

Size is 120 front, 150 rear. Sports and Power got 150 size rear available. Some ppl use 160 rear but will rub against chain (depending on the chain you use). Choose according to your usage and budget.

Battery confirm gone le. Reason could be due to the rectifier or the magnetic coil.

i suggest for your patch jobs, go to First Motor.. Their price is abit high.. actually to me ok, coz you not moulding anything.. but their workmanship is very good..

then its a very big sign that ur battery doesnt have the power to crank the engine also :x change it.

 

 

its kinda funny, some of the older rvf riders have other shops to go to than knt. the new ones all go there. *shrugs*

 

first motor is okay lar, their workmanship.. quite okay if you're servicing ur bike but the stuff they mould i think abit heavier than normal right? is the moulding in jb the same?
