bro, be patient...most will start to reply after 5 lah...now office hours and schooling time...so not much access to internet....take it easy...i'm new as well, but my bike has been with me for abt 4 mths....since your bike is with KnT, no worries lah..clifford will take care of your bike....

for your questions, think red rev is for eliminating revcut...this one got to confirm with fierymonkey cos i know he is using one...metal part, i'm not exactly sure, but probably one technique as well...enjoy your ride...we might meet on the road and ride safely....

I dunno the exact answer to your problem but I think it might be your suspension setup, ie. Preload and rebound rate. Find a good mechanic and feedback him the problem and see after he adjust for you is there improvement a not.

I did have funny feeling during cornering a while ago. While having the rear shocks rebuilt, Bikelab tested the setup and told me my front fork rebound rate too slow. After that cornering feels good again.

By the way you did not just change tyres to Bridgestone 090 did you?

hey bro...thanx for the info..

as a metter of fact yes i did change my tyres quite recently...lets say over the past 2mths or so..i think in dec...changed em at K&T

BT090 tyre profile has a pulling effect during cornering. You drop a little, it pulls you down further. I think that might be the source of your problem.

Hi Broz,

I have put up 2 of my posts with no replies, and I really need your help since I am so new with this bike, I also read a few posts ago abt a website where can see the RVF mods. Think it was grey..something.com.... PLS HELP:help: Sorry for any inconvenience to you guys...:help:

Hey dude,

Listen up. No one is obligated to reply your posts or answer your questions alright?

So if you have a question, ask it and wait for a reply. Pls dont beg. It's really irritating.

I did reply your post last night along with my other replies, but somehow i dont know why it didnt show up..

Anyway, to back up Nitekidz, your bike is at K&T. So dont worry, it is in relatively good hands alright?

Nothing wrong with asking questions but the way you phrase your post and seemingly beg is very unbecoming of a rider.

Guys,

I might be buying the below security screws to deter parts theft. I'm still fed up with the previous theft incident. However the screws comes in a box of 100 pcs and I only need the most 10 pcs. Anyone interested in sharing with me? The screw size is M6 x 12mm length. Price is less than $1/pc.

I also checked with the seller but they only sell it hex keys in a set as shown, approximately $35/set. Standard sizes so can use on normal hex screws too.

Hi ad1da5, Im interested in this security screw. Is it only available only in the size that you mentioned? Nice paintwork.

ok..in that case why is the pull extremely sudden n only on the front...if the whole bike seems to be goin lower cos of the tyre profile...which was in fact happenin after i changed the tyres...i can accept yr theory...but this time round..its like..the handle turns inward-2wards the turnin side very abruptly..its like only the front is turnin in even though the bike doesnt go low...hope i didnt confuse

yet again..tried handle off riding..bike in perfect str8 line...they say its to test if cone bearing gone or not...true?

bro thanx for addressin my issue so far..appreciate it

There are other sizes but then again the orders are in bulk of 100 pcs. Unless you are able to consolidate then I can help you order. Even for this order I'm hoping to get enough ppl to consolidate the numbers.

I did a check on the screws on our bike that are important security points - 2 on the rider seat, 1 each side on tailboard side, 1 each side on side fairings, 1 each side for bottom fairing and 1 for the head fairing and if you want 1 for the exhaust holder = TOTAL 10 PCS. All these points uses M6 size screws except the exhaust holder. Exhaust holder can use additional washer if the hole is too big. Since this screw is pan head, its almost impossible for the thief to hold it with a plier and loosen the tightened nut unlike those protruding head ones.

I have use the 090 before and I know the pulling effect is a bit difficult to get used to it if you use 1st time. My best suggestion is to bring your bike to your mechanic and explain to him the problem. As seen from the replies of other forumers, it could be due a lot of reasons - fork, tyres, steering cones, alignments etc etc etc... Its better to let the professionals solve the problem :thumb:

it most probably ur tyre... coz i had a similar prob like urz.... the mech said its b coz of the tryre.... n a fren told me coz that a kind of groove was on the tyre... i mean the shape.... in the center part... so wen u Negotiate a bend e bike goes down itself or goes outwards..... well correct me if i'm wrong... chao... :thumb:

My bike is being taken care of my K&T now and they are real super busy so maybe only getting it back after CNY. Sianz... What's a red rev and what does it do ??? Does it make a difference if you mend the metal piece to remove the powercut or if you short the sensor (which sensor?) ?? Does bending the metal or shorting the sensor affect the CDI.?? Thanks broz...... Guys I again apologize for my many questions and all the hep you have given me so far is much much appreciated. Sorry for all the inconvenience..... but ls do help :help:

can go to a bikeshop and they will do it for u .. abt 70pluz i think

tat is if ur bike tend to turn right alittle. if too much it maybe be the body fame iself.

and tat cannot be undone haha..

hope its not serious.

it maybe the tyre unbalance as well.. or the road itself lolz.

i had the red rev also..

i asked my mec. he say its used to cut of the power cut.

but he say can just tke it out.. and it cost onli 30 bucks. by bikewerkz.

aniwae i have it when i bought it. so i leave it hehe.

---> Does it make a difference if you mend the metal piece to remove the powercut or if you short the sensor (which sensor?) ??

both ways are for the powercut to not function.

Either way will do. see which wan u refer lo. or ask around see are there ani negative effects when they bend or shorten.

Should be no problem wan !.

bor thanx for the feedback...just that all these info u guys have given me seems hard to digest cos its 2 mths now close to 3 since changin the tyres..n this is the 1st time im experiencin this sudden pull of handle when i turn..weird that for 2mths i didnt feel it isnt it(if its the tyre)..anyways those who have replied..really appreciate yr feedback..now i have to rely on the pros as ad1das mentioned i guess...no use all of us confusin the situation without knowing the exact prob..but at least now i have a rough idea of wat it could likely be
