same.. sp that time had them lowered. but not on rvf.. u can try changing the preload setting on the forks see how first.. i find the handle bar quite low already on rvf.

...recently i found tat my bike is leakin fuel i suppose..but i nt sure wats the prob..cus i just changed the jet needles n the carb insulator rubber..n the prob seems like comming back..nw like only can run ard plus minus 150click..damn stress..hopefully tat sm1 stay near the west area could do help find the fault..thx..

 

ur riding style plays a part too... if u always throttle hard and high speed that can be the cause..

 

But still, 150 is quite low mileage for a full-tank RVF!! I'd suggest this lad get to a bikeshop when he has the time.

 

FYI: Petrol evaporates if left exposed to the air. It may drip out from the site of the leak, or you may not see it at all.

wa rvf i see full tank also smelly smelly reach 200km how come ur's so low sia.. btw rvf put the sp light switch good anot? i got fren changed then can on off and he tell me save batt when start.. change one sp switch how much? btw my bottom leak is one drip by drip,ps exegerate too much until puddle lol..i changed an oil block now less leak but still drip slower now nia left gasket and oil seal to check..$_$ no money to do one shot

I've discovered that when you press in the starter button (to start my RVF), the headlights automatically switch off until you release the button.

So yeah, this feature does help in a sense that it prevents the battery power from being sucked up from (i.e.) both the headlights and the electric starter being used at the same time -- applies during the starting process only.

 

I don't have the stock light switch installed.
