2 ways to get ur top speed reading. 1 is to ask class 2 bike clock u . the other is install stigma digital speedo meter(20-30$) which is quite accurate. why ppl like rvf .. design, showa forks stabilty. handling,easily flickable in corners,v4 engine,pickup,mid range torque. fantastico..look closely infront of the tank,not to forget the aerodynamics its design gave. italiano design+japan technology = sweeetttt

how u know ur bike is going faster then 180 if the meter cant see.u can feel ur bike going faster or maintain the same speed.

the way u two chat realli makes a normal person suddeny feel like playing corner. damm interesting . haha, saltue to 1handed corner taker whoeva it is, i oso wan go trackk !!! i luv to learn new technique . but no boots n jacket lehz..super sian. levis jacket button 1 can anot ? i think cannot rite..

hohoho this question quite subjective. i think each to its own . not all like rvf.. tts why they choose other bike,different model,different bike, different purpose. but if they understand the history of rvf they will appercicate the bike. Due to the high raise in road accidents back then in japan, the japananese goverement input a new law ,therefore restricting the horsepower of rvf. Despite this the rvf still gave other bikes a hardtime on track n off track and also gave its riders a special bond between bike n man. which rvf rider here dun take care their bike like treasure? hehe. Can u imagine if tt era jap goverment never restrict rvf ? tt result surely is oh my goodness.. btw honda rich enuff to sponsor f1 b.a.r honda team they still earn by their integra type r cars.rcv design 600rr, 1litre bike. one gd thing bout honda is,wheneva their make a model, they will outdo the previous 1. bout the story above i think i read up or tale told from frens b4, pls correct me if im wrong.. cheers.

You sumed it up pretty good there. Just like to add on that some of the technology featured on the rvf400 which is designed more than 10 years ago is still quite cutting edge today...i.e its V4 engine (no other 400s has them), its Elf designed Pro-Arm, its 5 spoke wheels and not to mention the USD forks which is so popular on the latest 600s.

 

Hope all these can answer MR POHKeng's question on why some ppl like RVFs.

hear tat some 1 riding CBR staying at westside can wheeli 3 lamp pole dun noe itis true anot coz i nv c den its some 1 riding RVF tot mi so......i really 1 2 c but i tin tat guy change bike ardy den tell my frnd 1, he coner also veri good until the kata trouch the ground tis is wat he tell my frnd 2...... sian 1/2 coz no chance 2 c sure an pro rider tat can ride so skillful.... haiz..... o_O
