btw, is there any other st legal pipes for rvf, other den yoshi, micron?? like gpr, arrow, akra, leo vince, 2brother or any others??

 

Arrow,Akrapovic,Leo Vince if i nv rem wrongly, they dont have exchast for RVF.Correct me if i'm wrong.

2 Brothers is definitely not street legal.

they say they will do service b4 i take the bike.. clutch plates.. i dunno whether need to change anot.. but when i test, the gear lever was quite hard..

Machine : EXPENSIVE esp 7% GST for 2nd hand bike? other places to the max also 5%

Insurance : solely depends on rider

Interest : 7%??!!! Ex to the max sia. When i sold my rvf, the new owner got 5%/yr

yea mircon sound power and HEARD got gain abit power. but i find it jus like normal pipe wif a shiny finish.

 

yeah or may b get a micron n remove the silencer like wat ken said... sounds much louder.... or best i guess jus settle wif a firespec... u nid not worry abt gettin caught as well...

Hello to all RVFians lao jiao here.

Have a few question here need to seek advice from you guys.

 

1)Anyone know the range of plates for RVF machine and their price range? To ensure that if i go shop buy i wont kena chop till too jialat

 

2)What are the common problems and the average maintenance cost?

Cos I know bikes from shops normally quite chui one.. Eg, SP normally the clutch housing knock sound , block , piston mostly all gone case liao. Buy already need to bring to JB to recover its internal injury lol.

Was wondering if buy RVF and inside chui already then jialat.. Head confirm big

 

3)Any good shops to recommend for pricing wise? Like how much is the interest rate etc. I know its impossible to ask which shop sells good bike cos all 2nd hand bike standards are limited.

 

4)Is it true that 2nd hand bike don't have GST 7%?

 

 

5)What is Stage 2 Jet , Motovation Slider , Power Abuser 2 ? Sounds like some fabulous accesories.

manual? hmmm. Installtion procedure as follows:

 

1) Locate your 12V wire from fuse box under ur pillion seat.

2) Cut this wire. So it becomes 2 pieces rite.

3) Connect ur Red wire from ignite to this 12V wire. Any end will do.

4) connect the other ends together. The last thin wire is for grounding. Fix to any metal structure.

 

If still need help, shop charges ard $10-15. Though DYI cost less than $2 to buy connectors.

maybe b4 buying the bike ask for the break down of the bike cost. if they say got GST then try 'hung' them saying "tot bike got no GST". see wat they say. cause my friend ever did that and he got lesser price. the shop try to cheat him. but don't know true or not.

got LV pipe,scorpion,GPR,Yoshi,micron legal. e rest not legal liao .

2nd hand bike no GST one ..e most they can charge u is 3% or abit more . but they usualy don charge one . if they really charge GST ASK FOR A RECEIPT tat got stat GST!

Go know Ah Meng from i-motoring..He can give you alot of advice on the bike..

 

Once awhile i will drop by to chat with norman and ah meng..

 

buy a packet of kopi for norman and any cold drinks for ah meng to get even more advice. tested and proven.

 

norman will tell u ah hui do rvf good cos ah meng only entertain class2 bikes unless u know him well enough to let him to handle ur rvf. =)

I will not recommend you to take GPR as for quality and build wise. Yes GPR might be loud but do you prefer sound over performance?
