i just replaced my chain, and the mech pushed the wheel all the way forward saying thats the stock. however, i noticed a huge drop in seat height. i told him that i didnt want to loose this height.

he said if he installed the chain in that position, there wont be much allowance for tightening the chain later.

so he pushed the wheel all the way forward and i lost my seat height.

do any of u think loosing height on the bike can affect cornering....

at the time i fell, i hadnt even scraped yet

you might want to lower ur handle bar? also i think there's a way to raise rvf's rear using 'jack up' plates...??

ther's alot of factors into bike setup...you need to find one that suits you best..me also very newbie on this...you'll need to find a expert to guide you... :cheeky:

i thinking of changing my chain to 14/42...been told that it's for faster pickup and better midrange...is it advisable? does the clock overreads?

when the adjust the rear wheel position, the centre height of the wheel itself is affected. eventually causing the overall height is affected. any comment

Still remember 2 guys help u out tat day when U met d accident at caltex corner? I'm 1 of d guys who came n help u......

My friends went over to caltex brought a mineral water n Tissue to clean ure wound b4 ure gf who is staying near by, came over to help U....

When I saw u take d corner at caltex, U R going very low liao, but half way out of d corner, I saw sparks on d road..... Think u should set up ure bike suspension, check tyre presurre, check ure tyre profile (see if d tyre profile allows U to do corner for etc tyres if is Y, Z,W rated), check if any bearing on ure bike is down. If U wan, I can give u some guide.....

I think U have over done it..... If U open too much on d throttle when U going out of corner, ure rear wheel have a little bit too much power. Height of d hub holding spocket cannot take so high torque on d rear wheel n d bike height on d rear wheel is higher. If U take back stock size, It's could be better.... Trust me.

Just my 2 cents of comments....

careful with wheelie...

it may damage ur clutch plates...

It will also make ure hub holding d clutch plate wear off easily. Clutch plate, Clutch metal, clutch housing, clutch cable is also another issue.

When U start to play wheelie, ure steering cone, rims bearing n front suspension will be done faster. In any words, When U master d skill, almost these fews item especially d fork will still to leak oil. Do save some $$ for some rainly days.

I used to play wheelie on my CBR400RRN n my CBR929RR. 1 sentences for U, Play at ure own risk n dun even try it at S'pore. U will lose ure license.... :cheeky:
